Sara: This is such a good book! I've been following the meal plans and am almost through them all. My diet is much more diverse now and I feel great! My only complaint is the calories given seem to be off. When I put the recipes into my tracker there's up to over a hundred calories difference between what the tracker says and what the book says. So if you're trying to stay in a calorie deficit, don't trust what's in the book.

E HE H: This book sounds like it’s going to do what say Diet Chef or other meal subscriptions do, but where you cook food yourself. I was expecting batch cooking that gave tasty different meals. I see that you only get two changes in a week. I cannot get excited or encouraged about that.

The book is also American, not British. So everything is measured in cups, and what the heck is arugula? I’m sure I could google the answers to this but I don’t want to waste my time. This book is not for me.

Also, no photos of the final recipes. So how do you get inspired?

2 stars because I like the paper it’s printed on.

Yoshilovesfruit: This is the first meal prep "diet" book that has made a big difference. I put diet in quotes, because nothing is off limits. I can eat like this for the rest of my life.

I love how meal prep is slowly ramped up from one week to the next. If you are cooking for a family, it's easy to double the recipes as well. After a few weeks, you'll be doing major meal prep and it will be like a natural extension of your life. I have a tendency to jump in with bug changes, get overwhelmed and stressed over time. Not with this book. She makes sure to start with baby steps.

The food is also tasty and filling! Calorie wise I've cut back following her meal plans, and I feel satisfied after a meal. Even better, I get hungry after four to 6 hours later. You know, regular mealtimes! I've cut snacking down a ton because o just don't get hunger pangs.

When I first saw the recipes I was tempted to alter some of them but am glad I stuck with it. The yogurt parfaits, one of the first breakfasts you'll make, have almond butter in them. It works so well!!! Very tasty and, I believe, makes it more filling. I'm not a fan of homogeneous yogurt, I like different flavors, so I just drizzle...

Hollie Pattison: Has some really good recipe ideas and it writes a table out for each section. You want to follow the meal plan.
I would like more pictures as I like to know what the end result should look like. There is no pictures for any of the recipes

Naïlla Lessard: je trouve le livre très bien fait il explique vraiment en détail tout ce que l'on doit acheter et je trouve qu'il est bien monter en terme d'explication et de détail comme en haut de chaque recette il est écrit si celle-si est sans produit laitier - végane- ou autre. Je n'ai pas fait le tour du livre encore, mais je suis impatiente d'essayer une recette

Mrs Siobhan Connell: This book is very easy to follow even for the most reluctant of cooks like myself! The recipes are tasty and simple and I have found it helps you think about food differently in a more healthy way. The only downside is it's written for the American market so most of the measurements are in cups. My husband is American so we use cups anyway but they can be easily converted into g and kg.
All said it's well worth getting!
