May V. Ray: I bought this because I needed a small, inexpensive blender to keep at my mom's house. Let me explain. My mom died and I'm the estate administrator. Mom's house is many states away from where I live. I knew it would take me multiple visits to empty the house, get repairs done, and sell the property. Mom didn't own a blender, but I'm a daily smoothie person (and the occasional margarita or daiquiri, as needed) and I don't need a lot of creature comforts, but this felt like a necessity, especially given the scope of the task at hand. Since it's only me and the blender doesn't need to do anything particularly demanding, I bought this one. It checked off all of my boxes: Can process ice, blends ingredients well, is surprisingly powerful for its size, has a glass carafe and reasonably strong motor, doesn't cost much. I don't care if it dies after two months of daily use--that's about how many days it will take me to finish my work at the house. This blender works great (so far), blends evenly and quickly, isn't obnoxiously loud, and takes up very little counter space. >^..^<: OK, so I just got it a couple of hours ago so I have only used it once. I bought this because I have been making milkshakes every night. My milkshakes are ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup. Don't know how this will work with frozen fruit, etc since I haven't tried that yet.
I have used three other machines for this. I used a Kiosh (sp) that I have had for a good while. It struggles some because I like my shakes thick. It's been giving off a burning smell the last several times I used it so I thought I'd better think about replacing it.
I bought an Oster blender because I really wanted a glass container. I bought the one that has the to go cup with it. I hated the to go cup. Too small of an opening. Machine worked ok but not great.
Then I bought a Ninja Smoothie maker. That works well but it is SO LOUD. It also is a lot more machine than I need. I would keep it if it weren't SO LOUD.
So, then I saw this. Looked like just what I wanted. Glass container. 20 oz. Removable gasket for better cleaning (that Ninja stank and I couldn't remove the gasket). As soon as this arrived I washed it and tried it out.

Practical Guy: This blender checks all the boxes for a personal size. Pro are:

- Affordable
- 20oz Glass container perfect for single severing
- Plenty of power 600w peak
- Easy to clean
- Is not a sealed vessel as the lid is press fit so it will not explode as pressure can not build enough
- Simple, one button! Hold to blend or tap to pulse.

I've been using mine for a few weeks now and I will put a whole lemon quartered with seeds and skin, a clementine, chopped kale, fresh ginger root, yogurt and frozen blueberries and in about 45 seconds its smooth. There are small fibers left but I like that and there are no large missed chunks and ginger is tough for some blenders. Blending longer will get it even finer. There is no other blender that has this combination of specs in the 20oz size in glass. Its the easiest to clean as the bottom and lid come off, there is a simple silicon gasket that can be washed separately. Because it opens on both sides I can reach in with a cloth from both ends for easy quick cleaning which is awesome. I drink right out of the 20oz pitcher. Rev22: Works well for me so far. I don't smell anything burning when using it but that might be due to me not running it for more than 40s at a time. Crushes frozen fruits and ice. It's about as tall as a 20oz shaker bottle which might be too small for some but just right for me as I was looking for a personal blender with good power(600w) that won't take up too much counter space. Clean up is easy and quick, specially with the detachable blade base and the jar being made of glass. I like that it has a pulse button to run it instead of pushing down on the blender jar. Very useful when you want to add some more stuff to blend. Noise is ok considering its power.

RK: Pros:
-600W motor is quite strong for this little blender.
-Jar is made out of thick glass, feels very durable.
-No issues crushing frozen fruits.

Cons:
-Very loud but that's to be expected for 600W motor.
-Lacks the pulse button but you could do it manually.
-Every once in a while you get unblended chunk of fruit but that could be just user error.

Overall a great purchase, quite compact design and best thing is that it's top loaded, makes it easier to make adjustments on the fly.

lokipokey: This makes the BEST smoothies! Also instant homemade hollandaise, mayo, and even pasta sauces.
Most high quality mini blenders require you to put ALL ingredients in, screw the lid on, then blend UPSIDE DOWN. Ick! Then the smoothie is either too thick or too thin, and it's super inconvenient to add just a few more strawberries, ice cubes, or a bit more liquid or flavoring.
This one works RIGHT SIDE UP and even has a small inner lid part that allows adding more ingredients without making a mess.
I drink my smoothies right out of the glass jar. It's a bit heavy, but hey, one less thing to wash up.
Oh, it's also pretty quiet for a blender; the quietest I've used. Works fast, too.
Hamilton Beach also makes a nice $15 plastic-container'd mini blender that also works rightside up. That one is surprisingly okay given its little 125W motor. But this one has a 600w motor and is worth every extra penny.
