Luly: Like everything!!! I live in a condo and I set it on my balcony floor, to avoid setting the fire alarm, very sensitive. It fries fish, wings, sliced mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, cut potato chips SO WELL!! Food comes out less greasy than sautéed and deliciously crispy. I fry with organic olive oil which is great for your health and delicious!!! 💯 satisfaction

Wow! So much better than old fashioned night lights of yore. Turns on when you need. Modern sleek square frame.: My husband wanted the Beyond Steak Tips to be crispy so I purchased this. We use it with light olive oil to make it healthier. Very easy to use, heats ip oil quickly and no splatter. We reuse a few times before cleaning.

No Face: When you don't feel like wanting to cook up something in a pan or a bowl or whatever, I always adore how these deep fryers come in handy. I got one when I was a kid, but a Hamilton Beach deep fryer is one I plan to keep for a very long time. They're usually of quality, and so far so good! I keep it around for whenever I don't feel like spending time looking over the food I'm preparing on the stove. Its kind of a cheat code.

Ruthie: Firstly, I would like to say that you can definitely add alot more oil than what this fryer recommends. Just do not over fill. It fries really well and if you add the extra oil like I mentioned, you can fry enough for a family, but maybe you will have to fry two batches of fries, for example, which is what I did. I really did not want to deal with a huge fryer. It's super easy to clean, as all the parts are removable and once it is washed I just put in my cabinet. That's why I love the size. I totally recommend this Deep Fryer!

Jon Close: The fryer itself is great — no complaints. It heats up quick and is pretty easy to clean.

The main issues I have with this fryer is it’s excessive “baby proofing” beyond normal or even practical.

1) the power cord is only 11” long (less then 1ft). This extremely limits where you can place, and use this fryer in your kitchen. Their reasoning for this short cord is so no one pulls on the slack of a long cord and pulls the fryer off the counter. I get it, but isn’t that why there’s a magnetic port?

2) the magnetic power port. I get it’s purpose, it’s the same as the one for the extremely short power cord, but in my opinion this is just redundant and even further limits where you can use this fryer. For example you can’t apply any tension to the power cord to properly place the fryer on the counter. Not everyone’s power outlet is located in an area 11” from the countertop. So now extension cords are needed — more unsafe.

3) the insanely low oil “maximum”. Based on the square inches of the oil bin, adding 2 liters of oil — also to their Max level indicator — only covers about 20% of the bottom of the basket when placed in...
