dogowner: A few culinary publications led me to this model. After comparing this and the others recommended I went for it. I worked in the food industry my entire life, you get used to a restaurant fryer, most home models cannot compare. This does a great job maintaining constant temperature when adding product. I filled one of the 1/2 baskets with about 8 large wings, dropped down and was prepared to wait for the temperature to return. No wait was needed, temp was already back up! Crispy wings, I am impressed.

HunterSthompsonHunterSthompson: Everything is dishwasher safe with the exception of the element and controls. It is extremely well-made and is quite large. I have a Family of six and it feeds everyone with one or two batches, depending on what we are making.

It can handle about 15 wings at a time comfortably.

Please be aware that this holds a lot of oil and is quite large and is very dangerous to have on a countertop. Be extremely careful. Where are you place it. if this thing gets knocked off the counter, someone is going to the emergency room and if you’re very lucky you won’t need a skin graft. I highly recommend it for every kitchen, but be aware of the dangers of having a deep fat fryer.

Love to fish and brought home some 20 blue catfish, but I prefer catfish fried. Like them whole with the bones like my childhood; much more flavor and juicier than fillets…but I wanted a better experience that just a frying pan, AND I wanted something I could use on my outdoor kitchen counter top so it didn’t smell up our new house. OMG I found the ticket!!

Set on 375, and by the time I took the catfish out of the vacuum sealed bag, washed, and breaded, the oil was ready! 5 minutes on the smaller piece, 6 minutes on the larger one and done. Let drain 2 minutes, but should have went a little longer! Squeezed lemon on the catfish and I was almost done when I realized I forgot to use ketchup it was so good and juicy!

Kelli: This was a Christmas gift to myself, I was so tired of using pots of oil on my stove to deep fry food. I've been needing and wanting a new deep fryer and when I saw this 3 basket fryer for that price, I could not pass it up, I have paid the same price for a smaller 1 basket at a local store in the past! I've already used it 3 times and am in love with it. I use peanut Oil so I can strain it through paper towels and use it over, instead of having to throw used oil out after using it once or twice.

I love the timer, no more setting a timer on the microwave or watching the clock, when it dings my food is done cooking! I don't really like the cord (I know it's for safety) but it is so short, I have to keep it close to the plug outlet, on my counter or table, which means it makes it harder for me to see the numbers on the knob, as I'm only 5'4 and my kitchen is not lit very bright, I always have to have my 16 year old son who is 6'1 come in with a flash light to put the knob where I need it to be. Also with other fryers in the past the magnets have stopped working and would no longer attach to the fryer, which hinders the product useless and I've had to throw them out. I sure...
