Govee Wireless Bluetooth Thermometer for Indoor and Outdoor Temperature Monitoring

Duke: I installed my Govee Thermometer in an enclosed turtle habitat 10 mos after the original purchase date because of some construction delays with the habitat. Once installed, it operated fine for 3 mos but then it began losing the connection with the outside sensor. I sent an email to Customer Service describing my problem and immediately received a reply indicating I would be contacted within a day or so. The following day I was contacted by Customer Service and it was resolved (by them) to send me a complete replacement unit even though I was now beyond the 1-YR warranty period. I'm up and running again and I'm very pleased with the product and ease of use! Thank you to Govee's Customer Service for their quick response and handling it the way they did.

DaBoujibo: I bought this so that I could track the temp in my greenhouse at night without having to go outside and freeze in the wee hours. With the app, I am able to view the temperature trend overnight to see what the outside lows were this spring. Compared to the manual thermometer I have in my greenhouse, I would say this is accurate about 90% of the time. It definitely is for the inside temperature. I did calibrate it so I'm not sure why the exterior temperature is off some times. I do wish the outside thermometer was more weatherproof. That is a downside. It cannot be in direct rain. So I could not use it to see what the outside weather is as I do not have any areas fully protected from rain other than inside my greenhouse. Overall, it did what I needed it to do.

CJCJ: I like being able to locate the unit in the living room so other family members check the temperatures but can load the app on my cell phone and get it's information from my bedroom. It's also is able to keep a history of what the temp and humidity have been (just make sure to load them in your phone within every 48 hours). It was one of the few units listed with an outdoor sensor, measures humidity and can be accessed by bluetooth. My initial unit was having a glitch in cycling back to Celsius and I was able to talk to an actual Govee representative through the app and they sent me a new unit at no cost. That's why it's worth paying a little more of these kind of things. Better customer service and a more solid device itself. I like the app so much I'm getting some Govee LCD strip lights which can be controlled through the same app. The unit has surpassed my expectations and it's nice to be able to keep an eye on the actual temperature conditions here at home which don't usually match our closest temp forecast locations because of our location on the mountain. I can easily recommend this unit to friends and family.

Sherry MattioliSherry Mattioli: Bought this to register the temperature in our greenhouse which is about 40 feet from our home. Product was easy to connect with the app. Love the large display. The temperature displays were 100% accurate. Within days, the main unit changed from F to C. Easy enough to correct with the button on the front of the unit. But a week later, it did the same thing. The main issue was the remote lost contact with the unit and there was no registering of the temperature in the greenhouse. The unit would come back on and display the temperature within an hour, but it would go off again and then come back on again. Neither the main unit or the remote were touched or moved. Contacted their customer service. They were absolutely wonderful in trying to resolve the issue. They sent a replacement unit and we returned our unit to Govee. The new unit set up easily and we thought we were in the clear, when the unit did exactly the same thing with losing contact with the remote in the greenhouse. I have only noticed that once. We have other devices connected via Bluetooth with no issues at all. I only wish this unit would work 100% of the time. We will continue to monitor through the summer and may...
