Goodfilla 8oz Neutral Base Water-Based Wood & Grain Filler

Kindle Customer: Not the first time I've bought this brand; performance is consistent. Why do reviewers apply WHITE wood filler to a dark wood, then complain about the color???
Needed to cover some chips in cheap laminate bookcases and this did a good job.
My only issue with this purchase is that the top of the container came loose in shipping and the product hardened to about halfway down. A little water and a stir stick fixed the problem.

Raquel WRaquel W: This was easy to use. Didn't dry as quickly as the directions said but I wasn't in a hurry. I didn't take before pics of the bore hole but will just say there was absolutely no filling inside the hole. The only thing holding the top screw of my doorknob in place was a drywall sleeve anchor. Would recommend this product because it worked like it should.

TomTom: I used it to fill grain on a mahogany bass body . It went on easy , sanding is not bad . The picture shows it after a bit of sanding . I am going to dye the bass red . Should look awesome with the grain filled with ebony .

Bern Grush: I got this to fill large cracks up to 1/4” in a laminate floor that had water damage. I almost certainly chose the wrong product for this job. If that is correct, then I cannot review the product itself, which appears to be quite good for its proper purpose. The reason that I am writing a review at all is that the product was delivered through the post in a bag that was crushed and the container had popped open and its contents partly lspilled into the bag. I cannot tell if that contributed to the problem I had using it. I don’t think so. But I do have to say I’m disappointed that it was improperly packaged by the shipper.

Harper: Only use this if you intend to paint the project afterwards. 'Neutral' is bright white once dried. It will not accept stain AT ALL. Bright white pimples instead of small dings is a huge step backward. I have no idea how long it will take to remove the product and start over. It seems to adhere very well.

**Edit - I am adding a star back to this product. It does what it is supposed to do filling grain and small dings. I found the product was easy to work with initially and it adhered to the wood well. My initial concern after finding out that it's not stainable was "Now, how to I get it out of the grain?". With a damp towel and a steam iron it softens and comes out without having to sand it out, which would have been very time consuming. It would be a great product for a project being painted.

Wildwalker: I mix the filler with a little wood glue to make an an excellent filler for cracks and screw holes. Highly recommended. Go four It!!

Rick: Product is easy to work with and fills cracks in hardwood floor good but color is way to light , needs to be darkened but it takes stain to a point . Have to wait to really see how it performs over time . Looks like material I had in floor from years past so if that’s the case I give it thumbs up

Rebis: This isn't a goodfilla, it's a great filla.
This is much better than another brand of grain filler I have used in the past that went on way too thick and was hard to sand.
Goodfilla is easy to apply, I used a credit card, and sand. It can be used as a wood filler strait from the tub and by adding water it can be used as a grain filler. And if it eventually dries out it can be revived by adding water. Great product.
