Kathy Miller: Worked well for all my uses as I had a large project. The container is not airtight, so I kept it wrapped up tight in a plastic bag to help keep it from drying out. It still started to dry out after a month of storing without use so I rehydrated it without any problem before it was too late. If you do not plan to use right away, a better airtight container might help keep it longer. I took off a star for the container only. I just noticed it is now over $15 just 5 months after I originally purchased for $10. So I’m not sure at this price if this volume is currently the best deal unless the entire container will be used before it solidifies.

Jerome W. Niemi: I have used this for years and its consistency is just right. Not powdery or flaky like other brands. Its lid leaves a lot to be desired. It has thin tracks that the lid latches onto and putty gets into the tracks easily, making for a poor seal. The lid should be more heavy duty for a better seal. If it's not on tight enough, the remainder of the putty dries and is no good.

Amazon Customer: This is a good basic wood filler. It doesn't have incredible strength, but is good for filling holes in wood or sheet rock. It will shrink a little in put in large holes, but a second coat is easy to apply. The ease of sanding is the best feature.

Michael M.: It may dry hard, but it's adhesion is less than great. After sanding the gaps in the cedar boards I'm using for cabin walls, the vibration from the sander had a tendency to loosen the filler's grip. May have been due to some shrinkage and a second coat solved the problem. Having said that, I still prefer it to DAP's Plastic Wood. The color seems more natural and the price is better, and DAP's product doesn't seem to work any better than this. The best solution I've found is to combine wood glue with sawdust, but it takes a lot of sanding to clean things up, as that wood glue dries as hard as diamonds. The color matches much better, since the sawdust comes from the same boards that are on the walls, but the sanding is a nightmare.

Eloy-itoEloy-ito: La descripción del articulo es: Elmer's E848D12 relleno de madera para carpintero, 1/2 pinta, 1 cuarto, Bronceado Marrón, y consideré que lo de BRONCEADO MARRÓN, se refería al COLOR del relleno, pero oh sorpresa, es AMARILLO, lo que me obliga a re pintarlo, despues de comprar, cuando me decisión, de compra, fue precisamente por que correspondía al color que necesitaba y que ademas, así se enuncia en descripcion del articulo en cuestión ya que en las dos presentaciones que ofrecen SE INDICA QUE UNA ES BRONCEADO MARRÓN (1 CUARTO) Y LA OTRA, VERSIÓN NATURAL (236 ml). Me imagino que esta que recibí es la versión original, motivo por el cual me veo obligado a retornarlo y ademas preguntar si estoy equivocado en el concepto del color de la masilla o es cierta mi afirmación basada en dicha publicación y que significa que no existen masillas de diferentes colores o que se equivocaron en la selección para el envío.

Rafael Marentes: Rellena muy bien espacios pequeños y agujeros. Para cavidades mayores con un trozo de madera de la forma y esto queda muy bien.

Engel: Lo compré para hacer unas reparaciones en puertas y me ha funcionado bien. Es fácil de manejar y de aplicar. Algo que me agradó es, si se endurece un poco, se puede agregar un poco de agua, mezclarlo y la consistencia se vuelve manejable otra vez.
