Sade O.: Very happy with this wood filler. Easy to use, clean & sand. On deeper filling it does sink in and take two applications as stated in instructions. Where possible I left the deeper spots over night but it's true to the instructions of sanding after 15 minutes. We used cabinet paint over it, took nicely. I filled round holes for shelves as we repurposed the unit. Took two fills and sanding but they are completely hidden. Will also be using for outdoor deck but haven't gotten to that yet... will update. Highly recommend so far, pleasure to use. Tad smelly but fine with window and door open.

LJ: I used this to repair some dry rot on a window sill. It works well if you apply it small layers, let it dry and add in that way. It gets very hard so should last. It sands well and paint adhere like on wood. I recommend it.

Rey Mundo Magnus: This review is in regard to FamoWood 40022126 Latex Wood Filler - Pint, Natural 24 Oz.

This is a great product and fully deserves a five star review. It hardens, sands and paints similar to wood

One thing I did learn the hard way is that this product should not be applied much more than a 1/4" deep in one setting or it will not dry well. It will instead tend to crack and remain pliable when touched. If you apply it as instructed it works wonderfully.

It can be layered one application over another, completed over a few days time, which I ended up doing out of necessity, to a depth of nearly an 1.5", height of 2.5" and width of 3.5"

I used this near the bottom of an exterior doorway casing, just above the threshold, where it had rotted from water seepage, and it worked beautifully

The bottom line is this is one of the best wood fillers I have ever used, and I highly recommend it

P. Toriumi: I used a flat blade screw driver, to pry off the cover top, working it around, a little at a time, till I could pull the top off by hand, being careful not to damage the top. Once opened, this stuff spreads easy, and drys fast & hard, after about a day. Larger voids filled take much longer to harden. I rinsed the top under running water, and cleaned the container rim, before replacing the top; I used a 1-pound rubber mallet, and pounded the top around the rim, as it requires a lot of force to put the top back on the container, sealing it. This container is well designed & made, sealing the unused contents, till it's all used up. Well worth the price.

SarahSarah: After watching too many You Tube videos I decided to update my bathroom. Taking the commonalities from the professionals I knew I had to fill in my oak before I could paint if I wanted a smooth finish. I used two coats on most of the pieces and three on the large, upright pieces, those that would be most visible. It was easy to apply and sand off. I did dilute it with water as advised by one of the You Tubers. I am very pleased with the result, particularly since this was my first significant diy project other than painting.

Alx: Para rellenar madera sirve bien, pero no es aconsejable para perforar porque se parte.

Tarda en secar y se puede partir durante el secado.

Usarlo si no queda más opción o urge demasiado la reparación.
