GMat: Product works great but sets up pretty fast. Suggest mixing a small sample to see how long you have to work with it. Also, mine dried green. Not a problem for me because stain completely covered it.

David D.: Good product but green. I had a ding in an unfinished slab wood door I wanted to repair before applying a natural finish, but the wood Bondo dried green when I used it to fill screw holes where the old hinges were. No worries.

rdc: Best solution to repair rotted wood window sills. Much better than other plastic would products i have tried. fast strong and waterproof.
But Amazon delivered the product several days later than indicated when i placed order causing delay in my project... not the fault of 3M.
Expensive.

Christopher MacDonald: It’s very strong smelling, would not recommend to use in doors but the product itself works great. Hardens and holds up for sanding.
I was refinishing an old cedar exterior door. Used the bondo to fill in some decorative carvings.

Stephi: I keep old plastic food containers to use for different projects around the house. The flat bottom containers work great for this product. I have read some of the negative reviews and I have a comment regarding a few of those. This product is sold by weight not volume so they sell it in a slightly larger can for ease of filling in the manufacturing process. The tube of red hardener is absolutely enough for a whole can. I always buy the 1.9lb can. I have used epoxies in the past that require a very precise ratio of resin to hardener. This product not so much. I do stir the resin before remove a small amount to my plastic mixing container. I then add the least amount of hardener I can get away with. I have found that if you add too much you have almost no working time and if you add a less hardener you have a longer work time and a slightly longer set up time but this has worked best for me. After adding the hardener you must mix quickly and thoroughly. The color and consistency should end up like natural peanut butter. The instructions indicates you should mix for about two minutes. I have not counted but I guess I probably mix for about 1 minute. Once mixed thoroughly I quickly...

Brian: Excellent product. However, it is important to follow the directions on the can, especially concerning using the mixture amount within 3-5 minutes. Do not make up more product than you can use within that time period. Therefore, recommend when using the product for the first time to make up a small amount so you can determine the amount you can effectively spread within 3-5 minutes. When the mixture begins to firm up it becomes more difficult to spread smoothly, so on bigger jobs you are better off to make more than one layer as it will be a smoother surface and no or less sanding will be required at the end. Once the product commences to set, you can not spread the product smoothly.
