LB: There is a lot of good information and many interesting recipes. Too bad there are no photos to give the user a reference as to what the finish product should look like. Still glad I bought the book as I have Celiac Disease and there is not much out there to help with baking bread in a bread machine.

ReadingTeacher: I have made several recipes from this book and have enjoyed each and every one (the herb one though... yum!). I have to admit, I do not use the blend from the book and have just used 1-to-1 premade mixes (I have used Namaste, Bob's, and King Arthur's- they have all worked). So if you are looking for easy gluten-free recipes to follow for a breadmaker- this is your book. No super weird ingredients you have to search for and yummy almost like real bread results. :)

SarahSarah: Having read mixed reviews of this book and many other Gluten Free bread machine books, I gambled with this one. Very glad I did as the bread results have been superb! You will definitely need to plan ahead before baking as the list of ingredients required for the two main bread flour mixes that anchor all recipes aren't available in your local supermarket. I have sourced from Indian food stores (for things like sorgum, millet flours, potato starch, tapioca starch) as well as Amazon for things like glutinous rice flour and ascorbic acid. Every loaf I have made has been fun to make and once you have your stores sorted you can be done with the ingredient mix in less than 10mins before it goes into the machine. Shame that the book doesn't have any pictures to give you a sense of end results but not the end of the world. Have added a photo as an example of the Almost Rye Loaf - v tasty, soft and light!!

Leslie 4LoveLeslie 4Love: Wow, I'm super impressed with this cookbook. I got the "Hamilton Beach Artisan Breadmaker (model 29885) and on my first try I got spectacular results! I was so tired of the limited, poor tasting, and expensive options for gluten-free bread. And now I have TONS of options in this cookbook...all the bread recipes look incredible and they all seem manageable to make.

Here's the kicker...my first loaf (in the pictures) was made at a cabin at 9,800 elevation! I live at 5,300 elevation so I knew I would need to do adjustments for that, but the altitude jump at the cabin was huge. I wasn't counting on it coming out. I'm so impressed – moist, delicious, sliceable bread! I would compare it in density to the Kim and Jakes Peasant bread, but more moist and flavorful. The smell of freshly baked bread cooking is awesome, but the smell of the yeast in the freshly baked bread is truly wonderful.

All of the instructions about bread machine baking were super helpful to me, as I'm a newbie.
