I have ordered two other books and they can't hold a candle to this one. Simple and easy and so many recipes. This is a must have if you have a bread machine. It's even better than the little bitty book that came with my machine. Thank you so much.

E. ZaboracE. Zaborac: I have had my original copy for decades and about 4 bread machines. Pages were falling out so I ordered a new copy. New one is a revised edition but appears to be a printing error copy. Pages are not centered. Format of original (top in photo) is nicer and easier to read new one is even smaller with thinner pages. I will keep using the old one taping pages back in and will probably retype my favorite recipes instead of using the new book. I have noticed the revised edition does have additional information that is helpful and some changes to some recipes so I will keep and use to make notes in the old book and trying out the adjusted ones.
I have purchased many bread machine cook books over the years and this is the only one I use. Whole family loves the recipes I make. Worth the $10 for sure!

Judy: This book has some really good recipes. I live 600 feet above sea level so altitude is not an issue. I have found, however, that some of the measurements need to be drastically adjusted. I think the author didn't proofread the amounts for the medium sized loaves sometimes.
For example, my favorite recipe, on page 60, is for OAT BREAD. The amount of flour listed for a medium sized loaf (1 1/2 lbs.) is 1 1/2 cups. The first time I tried this recipe I questioned the amount. I make my bread on the dough cycle of my bread machine and then take it out to bake it in traditional loaf pans. Most recipes for 1 1/2 lb. loaves call for about 3 cups of flour/dry ingredients. Yet, with the other dry ingredients, this recipe for a medium loaf only came up to 2 1/2 cups. I put it in the bread maker bucket and it was soupy. I added flour. According to my notes, I have met with success on this recipe for 2 cups of bread flour. That is 1/2 CUP more than the recipe calls for. I have not tried the small or large loaves for this recipe, but I would suspect that these need adjusting also.
The OATMEAL BREAD recipe on page 55 also has a note that I needed to add 1/4 cup flour on the medium...

Dingfelder: I read the first edition years ago and it was great with my old breadmaker. I got the updated edition and it's great with my new breadmaker. Highly recommended!
Two of my favorite recipes are keeping me from trying more of them -- they're just so good. But I do want to keep trying more and more over time.
One is the blueberry bread recipe. It uses blueberry cornmeal, available online and in some stores, and it was perfect the very first time. It has a hearty texture without being too dense or grainy, and the combination of blue cornmeal and fresh/frozen blueberries gives it a very appealing color. I especially like it toasted and then spread with cream cheese, sometimes with some jam on top. Hugely flavorful. After having it a few times according to the recipe, I doubled the blueberries, hoping the extra water content wouldn't mess things up. It didn't; the bread came out perfectly either way. It's now a breakfast staple.
Another is the cottage cheese bread with the recommended variation of some dried dill. It comes out in an interesting (and useful!) combination of soft but toothsome and durable enough to be manhandled without flattening out or breaking under...

Denise F. Blackwell: This little book has a wide variety of recipes. You can choose between three sizes of loaves each time; I really like this feature. I use these recipes in my bread machine on the dough cycle and then bake the loaves in the oven. The house smells great (all the way into the garage!). I've found that making bread using these recipes is a great way to spend time with my grandchildren.
