JB: Stopped working after 2 months. We are now getting an error message that the iPad does not recognize the accessory. Can’t return or get my money back.
11-7-2020 After much research this item is not MFI certified. The mfi certified products are very expensive (cost $70 & up). However if the cheap product stops working after 2 months with no warranty then it is worth the mfi certified product that does offer a warranty. This is my opinion only.

Leolao: Bought one a few month ago, it worked great. Bought one again.
I bought one of other brand for the same purpose, it did not work properly. This one Is much better, although the price is higher. You got what you paid for.

Cara: I am in love. I installed Ethernet in my home months ago. I was using a different adapter for my iPhone that required me to not only plug into my phone but plug into the wall. It wouldn’t work if I didn’t plug it into the wall with an additional cord. The wiring of that cord would always break down in about 2 weeks so I would reorder an adapter every 2 weeks! I didn’t know there was an alternative until I came across this adapter when theirs was “currently unavailable”. This feels like such freedom! The adapter cord is well made and I know it’s going to last. I might order another one for my iPad. I read from another review that this adapter drains your iPhone battery and I say to that - who cares?! It’s SO much better than plugging into the wall. I always have a fully charged phone and if I’m streaming lots of movies and my battery happens to run out I can just switch to my iPad. I’ve barely used this adapter as it just arrived last night but I’m so happy with it. Thank you!!!

XYZ123: I ordered 2, and within 24 hours of using it, one of the adapters stopped working. The blue light would no longer illuminate, and ethernet was not detected on the iPhone 6s Plus I was using it with. One of the two adaptors was returned for a refund. The 2nd adaptor died just before two months of ownership.
When it worked, it worked well with an iphone 6s plus and 1st gen iPad Pro.
Problems....
The Messages App doesn’t send messages, but has received messages on the above devices running iOS/iPad OS versions 13.4. Messages can be sent and received on WiFi, but only received when connected to Ethernet only.
I also receive popup notifications telling me to turn on the WiFi / turn off airport mode each time I access emails via the Mail app. I have been unable to download new apps from the App Store, but can update apps.
These adaptors also work with a VPN and they are one way to use an iOS device for emails and web browsing without WiFi.

This works just as well as USB internet sharing from a laptop! I haven't had any real issues with this thing yet. One time, it wouldn't connect to my phone at all, although I highly suspect that was my phone glitching, as I have experienced a similar case with my MacBook and a Thunderbolt-to-ethernet adaptor. (A couple minutes afterward, the laptop restarted because of an error, then everything worked fine.) I don't notice the 100Mbps speed limitation because we have 3Mbps internet. It takes about 9 seconds to connect to the internet from the time you plug it in, which is not too bad.
