I had my nephew coming to stay over. He is allergic to cats. I have 2. I put one air purifier in the tv room and one in his bedroom. He did great. No problems.

Hi - I'd just like to give you a friendly warning ! This looked like a nice quality item. It arrived in a box all covered with tape and labels which made it look like it had been opened and returned before (can't prove that but it certainly looks that way) AND it has a US plug on it. I now find that to send it back I must drive 14 miles to the nearest town, at my expense in petrol and time, to take it to a shop which acts as an agent for the returns. What a lousy deal. Also, have found a great alternative at less than HALF the price.

This product had good reviews with no clues that when it arrived it would only have an American plug. It also looks as if it has to be returned to the US. Does anyone have any advice as to what would be best to do?

Nice sized floor standing unit. We use it as a white noise generator in our bedroom at night. Our locations is desert and it is very quiet at night, except when it isn’t…. Coyotes with a kill, owls encountering mice, toads calling out for a date, and the odd car which needs its muffler replaced. Anyhow, this sits in the corner of the bedroom and generates a constant hum that drowns out the background noise very well. We actually run it at the second speed as the lowest speed is too quiet to be effective.
It has an ultraviolet light feature but we don’t use it because the feature turns on a bright blue light on the exterior of the front panel as well, which is distractingly bright.
Yes, it filters the air of dust, as evident when we periodically clean the filters although my allergies aren’t particularly improved by having it on.

I bought one of these air purifiers in 2020. Before that I got two from the same company a long time ago so when I bought this one I was pleased. The ones I got years ago needed to be replaced. So now this is my second one of this model. I am well pleased and hope that these will last several years. They are quieter and more attractive than the older ones. I have COPD and they help a lot. I had some visitors that remarked how much better the air quality is now. These were slightly more expensive, but worth it. UPDATE: I came back because I wanted to see if I could find the manual. So I read some of the questions and reviews. Here is the thing, as much as these work for cleaning the air, they are "divas". I learned the hard way that changing the filter or the bulb, the purifier makes it confusing because if the filter or the bulb is exactly right it won't turn on, and it is EXTREMELY important to hit the reset button. I grew frustrated so I hope this helps those that are having problems. The filter has an arrow telling the right way to put it in, even then it sometime doesn't sit right. Try pushing the filter to make sure the back is fitting securely. The bulb...

Recently got allergy tested. Oh boy! I had no idea! The doc recommended getting an air purifier minimally for my bedroom (14’x10’). I live in an apartment. I run this for an hour before bedtime. At bedtime I reduce the fan speed throughout the night. I keep my bedroom door closed 24x7.
This has helped a lot! I used to wake up stuffy sinuses and with red itchy eyes. I am less stuffy and NO red itchy eyes. Last night I fell asleep on the sofa and didn’t get my nightly dose of clean filtered air. Woke up stuffy and had itchy eyes. Getting one for the living room.
Was delivered quickly.
It came ready to plug in.
Makes the air Smell cleaner.
Definitely reduces my allergy symptoms.
Highest fan speed is a little noisy. Not rattling noisy, like white noise. Certainly blocks any outside noise.
I ordered extra filters.
