Cedric A Lara: My baby was born 3 years ago during some bad wild fires we had here in California. I had numerous air filtration systems in our house since there was active ash falling. This filter did a tremendous job jeering our indoor air clean. Easy to use, decently quit and the filter replacement is a no brainer. The filter can be vacuumed also to extend the life. Once activated and left on for 10 minutes there is a very noticeable improvement in air quality. Owned first one for 3 years and it's still going strong. Have picked up 2 more since. Highly recommend!

Karin L.: I’m an indoor smoker. Of course I know smoking is bad for me & secondary smoke is bad, too, but I had no idea just how bad the air quality inside my home is until I bought the Levoit 300S air filter and could monitor it inside an app.

All it takes is one cigarette for the air quality to go from Very Good (39 and under) to Bad (200 and above).

I’m still currently using the basic air filter that comes with the unit and expect the smoke filter to arrive any day now. The basic filter does make a detectable difference in air quality. Both my daughter & I have had what we believe to be severe allergies the past 3 weeks as the summer season turns to fall (this is also our first change of seasons since adopting a very very furry kitty). A persistent dry tickle in our throats that makes us cough just won’t go away. Today we left the house for a few hours and noticed neither of us had a dry tickle after we returned home…until I smoked again. That tells me the Levoit 300S is working at cleaning our indoor air.

LalaineLalaine: First of all, it arrived earlier than expected. The packaging was very good, and the product arrived without a single scratch.

Now, I already own another air purifier of the same model, and it has done its job tackling odors. So, I decided to get another one for a different room. The consistent performance across both units is truly impressive.

The most important thing why I bought this is because, at its price point, it has an activated carbon filter which helps remove VOCs, which is a good one since we are renting, we don't know what materials the apartment is made of, so to be sure, I bought this to make sure we are not exposed to harsh toxins. I also have a little kid so this is very important to me. I also love this model since it has an available option to buy a special replacement filter that is specifically designed to target toxins and fumes, so it's more effective.

VOLTEASVOLTEAS: Je viens juste de le recevoir. Je l'ai testé de suite . Pour commencer je l'ai allumé sur I j'étais surprise par la douceur du bruit. J'ai testé la première pièce qui est la chambre a coucher . Après 30 minutes je suis montée dans ma chambre et je me suis aperçue que cette odeur de humidité acide qui reste dans l'air était toujours présente ( j'ai un mari qui transpire énormément ). J'ai posé l'appareil sur un tabouret de une hauteur de plus de 30 cm pour qu'il soit plus haut et mis sur puissance 3 Max . Programmé sur 2h00 ( je me dis autant testé le max avec un min de temps la première fois ) et la bingo après 2h00 plus aucune odeur . J'ai descendu l'appareil dans ma cuisine et j'ai refait le même test en fumant 2 cigarettes pendant que mon mari maintenant fait la sieste ( il travail de nuit) . Après une 40 de minutes il est descendu et là il me dit bizarre je ne sens plus rien comme odeur de cuisine ( je venais de faire cuire du choux) et je lui demande sens-tu l'odeur de cigarette ? ( lui est non fumeur et comme l'hiver s'installe tout doucement plus difficile pour moi de fumer dehors) et là il me répond ben non je sens rien ! Et cerise sur le gâteau il...

Splinter: Antes de nada, solo comentar que antes de comprar este purificador me he tirado un mes leyendo mucho acerca de los tipos que hay, precios, valores, consumos...etc. Así que puedo decir que hablo con propiedad cuando os cuento mi experiencia:
-SÍ QUE FILTRA. Para los que le ponen una extrella y que si no filtra y que si blablabla. Sólo hay que ver el filtro que tiene, EL HEPA filtra las impurezas y el de carbono los olores, decir que no es de los mejores, el filtro de carbono no es de los mejores, no esperes que te quite el olor a comida o tabaco si fumas delante en 2 minutos..., pero dejalo un rato que filtre varias veces el aire y sí que lo hará.

-EL RUIDO. EN el modo sueño no se nota nada de nada, es decir, podrás tener el sueño super ligero que no notarás que está encendido. Evidentemente si lo pones al máximo y te pones cerca hará ruido.

Sí estoy de acuerdo en que el sensor no es de lo mejor, es decir, si lo pones en modo automático fácilmente vuelve al mínimo porque se basa en el nivel de particulas encontradas en el aire. Inspire: Let me start by saying I have owned 2 Germ Guardian Towers for at least 6 or 7 years. I gave one to my dad and now my toddler uses the other one.

I had started researching air purifiers for my bedroom, because although I was happy with the germ guardian I just wanted to know if there was something better out there by now. This one was at the top of my list, but I was going to wait a few weeks to buy it.

But a few days later, an adorable kitten came into my life from the streets. She's the cutest and sweetest thing ever, however, her bowel movements smelled like something from hell. She had been to the vet for deworming and while we wait for her insides to clean out, I could not stand the smell of her relieving herself. So I bought this right away hoping it would help.

Almost as soon as it was delivered, I plugged it in and went to work. When I walked back into my apartment, the air was incredibly light and fresh...the purifier was in another room at least 20 feet away from the front door! I am truly impressed at its ability to minimize the scent of the litter box while we heal her gut.

The noise level doesn't bother me at all. For the most part, it's on...

Die Luftqualität eines 24m² Zimmers wurde akkurat in der App gemessen und bei Verschlechterung direkt als Benachrichtigung ans Handy gemeldet.

Die Reinigung der gesamten Raumluft von "Schlecht" zu "Sehr Gut" dauerte in meinem Test knapp 12 Minuten und das Gerät schaltete sich abschließend in den Bereitschaftszustand. Der Lüfter ist dabei nur sehr leise zu hören und dreht erst hoch, sobald die Luftqualität sich wieder signifikant verschlechtert.

Die Steuerung via Alexa funktioniert tadellos und ohne jegliche Verzögerung, aber ein paar weitere Befehle (wie die Abfrage der aktuellen Luftqualität in diesem Raum) wären noch wünschenswert. In der App lassen sich Ein- und Ausschaltzeiten festlegen oder aber auch der Schlaf- und Ruhemodus aktivieren.

Über die Amazon Warehouse Deals mit Aktionsrabatt konnte man diesen Luftreiniger für sagenhafte 63 Euro (anstatt 149,-) erwerben.

Paula: Me decidí a comprar este purificador por la cantidad de valoraciones positivas que tiene en Amazon. Tenía que ser el 300S porque para mí, por tema de salud, es fundamental que mida y me vaya informando sobre la calidad del aire. Sin embargo, desde el primer momento en que lo he puesto en funcionamiento (quitando antes el plástico del filtro, por supuesto, y siguiendo a rajatabla el manual de instrucciones) me ha marcado azul nivel 1. Vamos, lo más de lo más, y en una habitación que me ha hecho enfermar por la mala ventilación y los olores que tiene (mezcla de moho y de productos de limpieza que se usaron para intentar erradicarlo).

He intentado forzar el cambio de color del sensor barriendo a su lado, de hecho, se ha empezado a acumular polvo sobre el aparato, pero no sube del nivel 1 y el aire sigue igual de cargado y con los mismos olores.

También lo he ido probando por el resto de la casa. Baño, cocina, otra habitación, sala de estar con la ventana abierta y entrando una corriente de aire. Nada. No vale para nada.

Procedo a devolverlo y a buscar otro que realmente me ayude a recuperar mi salud.

ClienteCliente: Beneficios en salud persoles: cuando hay calima ya no tengo los ojos enrojecidos y moqueo. Se nota la diferencia entre el salón (donde se encuentra) y la habitación donde no ha sido utilizado. Tampoco he tenido dermatitis por polvo en aire así que puedes dormir una siesta sin tener que pasar cada día el aspirador para tapicería contra alergias con led. Ya sólo lo paso una vez a la semana en este mes. Algo que ayuda bastante.
Beneficios en salud de mascotas: los perros con 9 y 10 años y uno de ellos con secuelas respiratorias después de pasar por un contagio de "tos de las perreras" que cogió en un parque canino ha mejorado su respiración y voy a tener que comprar otro para dejar en la habitación porque siempre quiere dormir en su cama pero eonde uno duerme y sí si hay polvo o calima se pone muy mal. Cuando lo pongo en la habitación mejora y está como si estuviera sano. ASÍ QUE SI TU MASCOTA TIENE PROBLEMAS RESPIRATORIOS DEBERÍAS COMPRAR UNO porque además que no sufre; te evitas en una semana (llevo un mes) visitas al veterinario con el gasto que ello conlleva y los pinchazos de medicación.
