Shelly R Richards: Purchased this air purifier to help living in a small apartment and not able to open all the windows during cold season.

First it's so easy to set up. Remove from the box, take all the plastic of each part. Make sure you remove the plastic from the actual filter. Find you central location, plug it in, turn it on. That's it.

The " buttons" in top are easy to see and use. The cover of the filter is also easy to remove and the filter has a little pull tab on it to make it easier to remove when the time comes. I left it on the bottom as that's where it was positioned when it arrived.

It's been running 24/7 since arrival and has not disappointed me at all. Cleans smells after cooking and whatever staleness is in the air.

It's left on high at night while I'm sleeping, I like the sound of a fan so great for me. During the day I leave it on lowest setting.

I'm looking forward to having clean air all winter!

AE4569: I received this air filter yesterday and so far I am very pleased. I initially set it up in our bonus room where my preteen/teen boys play video games. It's always a little stinky in there. After a couple of hours, it was noticeably better. I really like the design where the air flows into the front of the machine and then comes out the top. Other filters move the air from back to front, which is kind of annoying because you have to move them out away from the wall to make sure the air is circulating well. This one you can put back against the wall, no problem. But my favorite thing about this machine is that the lights turn completely off when you put it in sleep mode. I moved it to our bedroom at night, and it did not notice it was there all night because the fan was quiet and the lights were off (not dimmed, off). I don't know why so many manufacturers can't seem to understand that people don't want a bunch of little random lights on in their room at night, even if they're "dimmed". Apparently, the pure enrichment people get it. Thank you.

Margaret Thiessen: Works great! We have two large dogs that shed a decent amount. I usually vacuum the floors about twice a day and Moo the floors regularly to reduce dust and dander from the dogs since we have allergies, but there seems to always still be a lingering dog smell around the house which leads us to use plug in air fresheners that usually bother my allergies as well. But, this unit made the air feel and smell so clean! After a full day of running it in our open floor plan home I was able to unplug the air fresheners and there was no dog smell! My dogs are indoors and get bathed once a week so they don’t ever get really dirty (except when they go on adventures but they get baths after that). Even after cooking, the unit was able to get rid of any food smells within an hour or so. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with pets and allergies. It’s easy to use and move from room to room. In the lowest setting it’s pretty quiet and we had no issue sleeping with it running during the night.

The RaccoonThe Raccoon: I bought the Pure Zone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier on a wing and a prayer. You see, my dog Hildago, a 9-year old Irish Setter has canine IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). The origins of the IBS are unknown, however, as a treat on his 3rd birthday my wife fed Hildago a carne asada breakfast burrito and he has never been the same since. This is not an indictment on my wife's cooking, she's 5-star, and could be featured on the Food Network if she did not lose an eye in Desert Storm (not THE Desert Storm - she was caught in a desert storm in the Mojave and sand blew into her left eye causing permanent damage leading to blindness). I digress.

Okay, so since the CAI (carne asada incident) Hildago has been afflicted with Canine IBS. I don't have all day, so I'll just say that Hildago breaks wind about every third step that he takes. Step-Step-Step-Fart. Repeat, all day, every day, for the past 6 years. Unfortunately for my wife and I, Hildago's flatulence has gotten us thrown out of 2 leased apartments and permanently banned from my parent's country club. The last incident was very unfortunate as the Club President publicly shamed my parents at the season-ending fundraiser...
