I turned 50 some months back and I love overnight oats. Since my crossover into seasoned aging… oatmeal would literally wreck my gut. Bloating, gas. Pain… just very uncomfortable. I stopped eating oatmeal and resorted to unhealthy options my gut could handle. 20lbs and 80 cholesterol points later, I decided to try this with my overnight oats. I feel like I can eat healthy again as it worked for me. Eat my oats and take two capsules immediately following. Now, it does not completely alleviate the bloating from the fiber. I can say to at on a scale from 1-10 with me being at a solid 7-8 before I would take these.. I am down to a 2-3. Definitely manageable and WAY more tolerable.

For months I have had to use lots of sugar-free cough drops to numb my throat due to a nagging cough (finally diagnosed as a neurogenic cough), but that many sugar-free lozenges built up a lot of gas in my intestines every day. I felt bloated and uncomfortable, plus all that gas! So for a week, I switched to regular sugar cough drops and they worked just as well, but didn't cause the gas. Unfortunately, I checked online and saw that the sugar lozenges were 30 calories each and I was using 15-20 some every day! Way too many wasted calories and plus, my teeth were constantly being bathed in a sugar bath, certainly not good for my teeth. Before I switched back to sugarless, I tried using some GasX (simethicone) I had and noticed that those (chalky) chewables did reduce the gas, but yuck! So I ordered these little extra strength simethicone easy-to swallow gel pills and I'm much better. Exactly what I needed. Not really cheap, but these are tiny and powerful and were the best price per 180mg pills. (I didn't order the lower 120mg because I would have to take too many of them.)
