A.M.: I've used Hyland's Gas Tablet's since the late 1990s & I swear by them! They're an excellent quality & very reliable gas-relief homeopathic medication, that works best if you can lay down on your side for at least 45-minutes to an hour after taking them under your tongue. I don't have frequent gas bloating problems, but when it does hit, I found that taking three (3) tablets works best for me in most cases.
Tums & milk of magnesia are disgusting to me, but Hyland's tablets have a pleasant taste. On the rare occasion where I ate something that really wasn't good & wound up with some painful gastritis, I took four (4) tablets under my tongue with no problems of overdose. If they get a little sticky under your tongue, you can drink a little water to help soften & dissolve the tablets, but DON'T swallow them WHOLE---make sure they are fully dissolved before swallowing them! Lay down quietly on your side immediately afterwards. After laying down quietly on your side for roughly 1/2 hour-to-45-minutes, you should definitely experience a lot of flatulence within that time and be relieved of the pains & bloat that gastric disturbances cause.
