Tkeyser: This works wonderfully if your baby has colic. But please note it is black liquid and it will stain. Baby spit up with this is their system come up as grey and does stain clothing or bibs

Amazon Customer: We did the little remedies gas drops, then gripe water, formula/diet switches and poor guy still had such bad gas and spent hours crying. Gripe water seemed to become ineffective over time- in comes “the black stuff” as we call it…this stuff is the real deal: you can hear the gas breaking down immediately, every time. We have now been giving it to him for 4 months as needed and it has changed his whole mood! It will stain if it gets on clothes, but well worth a few pairs of pjs with little black specs! Purchase again and again!

Lillie: My son hates gripe water so I thought this would be a good alternative. It’s a very dark color, I think there might be charcoal in it because it’s such a deep black color. He would spit it up and then it would stain his clothes. We ended up throwing our away because it didn’t make his gas any better. His pediatrician said this might be a good alternative but it didn’t work well with him. Beware of the poop after you use this, it will most likely have black bits in it because of it’s color. After we gave him a tiny bit at first he made a yucky face like it tasted funny, it didn’t have any smell so I don’t know what it may have tasted like. This didn’t work with easing any gas but it did make him spit up a lot after using it.

Amazon Customer: My 7 week old son has some gas problems - he's often gassy and during the night time (especially the later it gets, from about 4am onward), it seems to get worse. He strains and pushes and turns red. At times he seems very uncomfortable and a few times he has even woken himself up crying (I'm imagining due to the discomfort). I took him to the doctor and am told he is fine, and this is a common issue with newborns. I'm glad he's OK but it's still rough to see him so uncomfortable (and to be honest, it really interrupts MY sleep to her him grunting and straining so much). I tried the Mylicon but that really didn't seem to do anything for him. I also tried Dr. Christopher's fennel and catnip drops but my son HATED the taste - it actually made him cry and didn't seem to work. The Tummy Calm definitely works - however, not as miraculously for me as it has with some people who's reviews I read. There are nights where it works very well and seems to get rid of his gas pretty quickly, but other nights it doesn't seem to help at all. I think the combination of using this product as well as making sure to feed him at an angle, burp him, and keep him upright after eating works best to...
