Gel Sleeves Forefoot Cushion Pads: Metatarsal Pads for Soft Foot Care and Bunion Forefoot Pain Relief

Cynthia: These are good for people with narrow small feet. In my experience one size does not fit all so be aware they do run small. I wear a size 8 wide women’s shoe and these metatarsal gel sleeve fit very snug and cut into my pinkie toe after an hour or 2 of wearing them. Brison Health makes a much more comfortable version called metatarsal cushioned pads that are cut a little different and come in different sizes. As a size 8 I got a large and they feel so much better!

Meneleus: I suffer from metatarsal pain. I was really hoping these would help and they do help. But as other reviewers have noted there are some big issues:

1) The padding is not enough. We need something thicker, that will open up the metatarsals so they don't rub against each other. The gel is comfortable but doesn't open it up enough at all.

2) The elastic is tight... I did not have any trouble with the pad riding up to my toes, but the elastic is tight, the back elastic left marks on my foot and the toe elastic marked my index toe.

I think, I'll keep them. I wore them today for about 5 hours. I may try to add extra padding but then the elastic will be even tighter, so who knows... I'll update the review if I have success.

*EDIT* I should say, I am a male shoe size 10 1/2 for reference.

Lizc: It’s comfy and soft to put on, until you wear socks and put on your shoes. It gets pushed off position and doesn’t function well.
Overall runs too big and hence the support for arch is weak.

Clare Rollosson: I was disappointed. The fit is okay although it does tend to slip off. However the actual pad is too small to cover the ball of my foot so the area I most need relief from isn’t covered and I have small feet.

Mwho: This product doesn’t help my bunion problems. I was hoping it would provide some relief. However, the material is soft which provides support on the ball of the foot. The size small is still too big for me.
