Amazon Customer: Was easy to install. came with plumber tape and wrench. Don't buy the plastic ones. I bought one for each shower. Installed a much nicer fixed shower head (speakman) and used my existing handheld for the other side.

John C Hawkins: I got tired of the cheap plastic hand shower mounts that keep leaking and cracking, so I bought one of these hoping to end my frustrations. Well, I should have searched and found this mount long ago. It was simple to install - no plumbers tape required. It does not leak and I have no doubt that it will outlast me. It is very well built and the chrome finish is exceptional. In case people wonder why the plastic mounts keep breaking, I have a very long hand shower that I use to wash my large dogs. While they are great dogs they are not the biggest fans of bathing and every once in awhile one may try to escape when I am distracted and they sometimes get caught up in the hose. Almost guaranteed to crack the check plastic mounts.

jerryb2339: With a new shower, I have also replaced the showerhead and decided to add a non-plastic handheld showerhead as well. The ad for this one is correct - the volume and power of the water is excellent. AND it really looks good as well. I bought a whatever-it-is-called valve (diverter?) that holds this handheld to put between the water pipe and the regular showerhead, so that I was not screwing the accompanying bracket into the wall (to me, creating 2 new holes in a shower does not seem the smartest thing to do, but I am probably just being paranoid). Overall the quality is what stands out with this device.

Richard J. Johnston: I was very pleased when I received and installed this diverter valve. It is high-quality, all-metal construction, and the handheld shower mount is great as it precludes having to install a separate mount for the shower head (AKA more holes in the waterproof envelope of a shower enclosure). The only shortfall of that, though, is that one must reach to showerhead height to reach the handheld showerhead, so if one is of shorter stature, that might pose a bit of a hassle.

Overall, great product and quite pleased with it. Would order it again.
