Tim B: If you have decent power, you'll knock this over. I never tried a floor based heavy bag, and the grandkids needed to be taught, so I bought this. The springs are not uniform in tension, I had to tweak the bolts quite a bit to get it to stand up straight, but the good news is, at least there is a way to fix that! I think the grand kids (under 125 lbs) will do good with this, and for them, it will last. I have a feeling if I pounded on it for a month or two Ide destroy it. The center metal pole is pretty thin and I think the only thing that saves it from bending when I hit it is the springs and that I knock it over. The bag material is basically plastic (pleather-fake leather) so don't hit it unless you have a soft glove on or you'll tear it pretty quickly. So for kids it is great, for serious long term adult gym work outs you'll be paying more, need a better stand, and more robust materials.

Honest Reviews!: Summary:

I'm not a prize fighter by any means. I'm just a guy that likes to hit the bag for exercise. Overall, this is a good bag that looks to be very durable. I hit the bag pretty hard, and it seems like it will last. It took some time to assemble, but they give you everything you need except sand. I have a smooth floor, but it's concrete and probably not the best surface for suction cups to attach. However, they do attach somewhat. I am used to hitting a 100 pound hanging bag which has a wider diameter. This bag is narrower and you have to hit it more carefully so you don't bend and injure your wrists. I recommend this bag for exercise. Since I'm not training to actually fight, I can't speak to how good it is for that application.

Details:

-You will need DRY sand. I got mine at Home Depot near the bags of concrete - don't get it from the nursery because that's wet sand you'll never get it into the base. I put about 140 pounds of sand in the base.

-Get a good funnel that has a wide opening on the top and bottom. The bigger the openings, the faster the sand filling will go. It's a pain, but necessary.

-This bag is ideal if you have smooth floors...

Amanda T.: I bought this bag a couple years ago. After one year of use the black plastic at the base of the bag cracked and the stand became unusable. I'm not very powerful and don't weigh much so I was shocked and saddened to see that happen. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement within a couple days with no hassle or back and forth. They were great, responsive and friendly.

well, fast forward another year and it has happened again! Maybe I just got two defective ones? but all that to say that the vendor is great and responsive and even though I'm beyond the warranty they are still willing to help. Overall a good product and even better vendor! Despite the issues I've encountered I'd consider buying one of their products in future since they are so helpful and that's rare these days.

Tracey Davidson: Great product feels substantial haven't used yet as still filling with play sand.

I have put it outside to use so as previous reviews say unless it's on a flat surface don't use the suction cups and fill with sand. The downside is the hole to fill the base is tiny so far it has taken nearly 50litres of play sand and still going having to use a makeshift cardboard funnel. It is very time consuming would be much better and had 5* if had bigger hole to put sand in.

Honest ReviewerHonest Reviewer: I have been using this product for a few weeks now. It’s quality is superb, especially for the small price in comparison to other competitors. I’ve been using it outside, and have used a heavy duty bin bag to protect the leather of the punching bag- which I’m sure is weather proof anyways.

The customer service is brilliant, I had a small issue with the product when I first received it, however customer service have sorted out the minor problem both efficiently and politely.

A perfect addition to any outdoor gym- would defiantly recommend!

It’s been a year since I’ve owned this and I’ve been using it about 4-5 times a week on average. It has withstood thousands of punches and is still standing. Yes, the condition of the bag is rough, and it’s pretty much falling apart, but I want to share with you some really key tips on how to avoid this!

- Cover the Punch bag with a heavy duty bin bag when not in use! This will protect it from rain and prolonged the leather of the punchbag.
- fill up the base with Play sand and NOT builders sand. This will prevent yellow tinted leaks onto your patio....
