The FosPower 2000mAh NOAA Emergency Weather Radio (Model A1) is the perfect companion for outdoor emergencies. This portable power bank is equipped with solar charging, a hand crank, and battery operation to ensure you have power when you need it most. With its SOS alarm, AM/FM radio, and LED flashlight, you'll have the best weather radio available in terms of light output, value for money, and ease of use. Plus, the built-in 2000mAh power bank can help provide emergency power to any small tablet or phone. The crank lever and solar panel help regenerate enough power to keep the radio, lights, and SOS alarm ready to go. Michael Wilhite: I bought this radios for emergencies and so far it hasn't disappointed me, The crank for charging it worms great and so far I haven't had much of an issue picking up radio stations, I haven't used the solar panel for charging it yet but I'm not to concerned about it as long as the crank on it still works.
It so has a great little flash light on it
For the price I paid I'm pretty happy with this purchase

Althea: So, seeing this product, having multiple functions, I had to buy it. I love it. It charges by solar, or batteries, and charges your phone, etc. The radio picks up a lot of stations. Flashlight is bright. This is my favorite little gadget. This is great for camping too!

Honest ReviewerHonest Reviewer: I bought this because we encountered our first tornado. It was only an EF1 and we must have been at the start of to where we only lost power. Our power went out at midnight and we had no way to charge our phones, hear what was going on, or anything. We could use the car to charge it up a little bit, but it would die just as fast. This is lightweight, has an emergency sos button should you need it. There is a solar charger, a crank charger, or you could use 3 Batteries. It allows you to charge a cell phone and comes with a micro USB cord. I'm sure there are fancier more expensive ones out there but this is good enough for me. I will say our power came on right before I got this so I can't say how long it takes to charge a phone etc or how good the solar power panel is. I will play around with it and once I find out I will update this.

Crdinpa: This review will go over the pros and cons of the FosPower 4000 versus the Raynic 5000. Both are great units with a few key pros/cons for each that will determine which one you pick as your device. They cost virtually the same:
First the Pros of the FosPower4000
- Build quality is top notch - it just feels solid without being heavy at all
- The dynamo for the hand charger secured nicely and is easily retreivable
- The bright to dimmer flashlight options are excellent and more versatile
- The carabiner that is included is top notch
- Limited LIFETIME Warranty (wow!)
- Rechargeable battery easily accessible for replacement if necessary
The Cons of the FosPower4000 - implying 4000 mAh battery
- Only 2 ways to charge it; USB and solar; USB cable included but no plug
- The manual tuning dial buttons are not the best way to go when you need quick access to a Weather band
- No headphone jack
- 8 times out of 10 when I grabbed it, I accidentally hit the SOS button; no button-lock feature
- Handcrank does not feel smooth when turned
Now for the Pros of the Raynic5000 - implying 5000mAh battery
- Build quality if good but not as solid...

Janaina: I did a lot of research on different models before choosing this one, and I can guarantee that this item is very satisfactory, in addition to being an excellent price, handle with care, of course, I use it a lot for traveling and for emergencies only, it would be nice if the power button emergency alarm was red because depending on how you pick it up, you don't know where the button is and you can press it by accident, not a big deal though, and I'm used to it now, recharging the phone worked very well and it charged very quickly, like my phone had 5 percent of battery in 5 minutes was 27 percent, depends on you phone of course, but it does charges well regardless. I also recharged the item itself when I had no power, I used the handle and turned it for a few minutes and soon it was already well charged, enough to charge the phone and have communication, the radio works great very well, if you need it, the solar also charges the device well, every 3 months charge the electricity full charge, and in that time I also leave it in the sun to maintain the charge. but as I said, if the charge in the device it self runs out, turn the crank and it will charge enough to charge a cell...

DLPDLP: After a camping trip to the middle of nowhere with no cell service I realized that it would be beneficial to have an off-grid means of being able to know of impending weather conditions. This little radio clicks off a list of conveniences: solar charging plus hand crank so it will always have power, a reading light, flash light. Small size is easily packable for wherever adventures take you. I keep it on a windowsill so it’s always charged and ready to go.
