Kojak: Great adaptor. Worked as intended. I use it on a Macbook Pro from 2010. Plug in and use immediately no software or drivers needed. Now I can see my work on a much larger screen. It expands the work area as large as you need.

Simon: Connect my 2017 Mac Air mini-display to the monitor (DVI cable) and have display from both Mac Air and monitor without problem. The choices of HDMI/DVI/VGA is great. Thanks for all the reviews that confirmed this is 'the' adaptor for 2017 Mac Air mini-display port.

NYC gal: Needed something that would work with the college's overhead projector systems, a system that is used everywhere now in colleges and schools. After getting guidance from the Apple Help folks because I am using an older Mac, I got this adapter and all my troubles were solved. Top notch product, easy to use, easy to throw into my school bag. Could not be happier.

Happy Juan: My wife and I are working remotely. When I started I bought this to use with my computer. But a couple of months after I was steadly working from home I bought a specific adapter to work with my computer. I have a Surface Pro and an adapter made for the surface pro was a much better option.
My wife on the other hand was using a Lenovo laptop computer from her office and was working with the small screen on the laptop. She was getting frustrated as the fonts and everything was too small for her to work with. She went and got a large monitor from her office to use at home. However she did not want to bring the heavy duty adapter she had a the office. I suggested to use the mini displayport and she gave it a try. Now she loves the adapter. It is a lot smaller than the one she has in the office and it works amazingly for her with the monitor. She is very happy because the area she is using at home to work is small. So the small adapter works really well.
I highly recommend it and my wife really loves it and gives it a high rating. She will give it 10 stars but the rating only goes to 5.
