John Wargnier: Modified the plastic to attach a CAT5e to VGA adapter. They said it wouldn't work but it works perfect.
Computer display port to VGA using this adapter. Attach VGA to CAT5e adapter. CAT5e cable to ceiling through cabinet down from ceiling to CAT5e to VGA adapter plugged into monitor.
Replacing the CAT5e cable was not an option so I had to hook the computer to the old vga monitors that are on a ceiling mounted stand. The new computers were only display port so this adapter modified worked perfect.
