LizLiz: This always shows multiple numbers lit up never just one temp. This brand has a digital one that displays the room temp as well and I recommend 10/10 on that other one. This one meh.

Precise DisarrayPrecise Disarray: Easy to use, seemingly accurate, cheap. Perfect.

I have it attached to the outside corner of my small five gallon tank. The room my tank is kept in tends to be cold, and with the winter season upon us, I wanted to make sure I had an idea of warm/cold my tank is. I bought a heater and this thermometer. I almost purchased one that gets attached inside, but real estate inside this tiny tank is limited. This is perfect.

This thermometer is unobtrusive- I don't focus in on it when looking at my tank. It simply attached to outside of tank, so no hassle in getting it set up. Shows a temperature range that appears to be accurate. Between this and the heater I added, my guppies seem much happier.

DarkDolphin7990: Works as expected and gives a good idea of the tank's water temperature. Green indicates the temperature reached, while if there's a Tan and Blue showing up, then the temperature is between those ranges. Seems accurate enough when compared to a handheld digital thermometer, but since there's a wide gap between the listed temperatures, this is really more for showing an estimate so you can tell if your tank water is at a good GENERAL temperature for the fish or water critter you're keeping in the tank. I do like that it is small and doesn't take up much space or obstruct much of the tank viewing surface. Place it somewhere below the water level (I stuck mine along the bottom corner of the tank). I'm using these on my betta tanks :)

David Bradshaw: I got this for my 10 Gallon Glass tank to ensure that the heater I purchased would keep the water at the right temperature, during this cold winter. It was easy to install, just take the adhesive off and stick it to the glass (under water level). I placed it opposite of my heater, to ensure that the water was at the right temperature across the tank. This is (like most stick on thermometers) a basic reading and gives an estimate using colors on the sticker that shows the temperature. This is what I wanted, since I do not like the big floating or stick on thermometers that go in the water, since they are bulky and do not look good. This sticks on the side in the corner, and does not call attention, I occasionally take a glance to ensure that the water temperature is in the high to mid 70s, which is easy to identify on this.

In the end this is exactly what I wanted, and was perfect for my tank!
