Jim T.: I bought 2 of these in August and installed one immediately, it works great and was so simple to operate. Unfortunately, I didn’t need the second one until this weekend, and it dies not work at all. Seems to be frozen at 33F. I have reset it numerous times, and even changed the battery, to no avail. Do you know if any ‘tricks’ I can use to get it working? I setup another aquarium this past weekend, and really need this to work. Thank you!

Amazon Customer: Used to check aquarium temp. The two I bought always measure about .3 degrees F different. Both measure lower than older temp gage and thermostat settings.

Robert: I was using them in two fish tanks. One tank the water felt a little warm compared to the 2nd tank (I keep inching the temp up a little because the probe was telling me the tank was only 75, the other tank felt cold in comparison and gauge was saying it was 73.

I bought a couple old school thermometers, calibrated them in water and set in tank. the 75 tank was actually 84! and the 73 tank was 77 . Both of the digital probe ones were well off from being an accurate measurement. Its a shame they didn't work properly, it was very easy to read in a sleek design. Nearly killed all my fish if I trusted the temp and kept increases the water temp. I like it around 80 so it would have been really hot if i went by that temp and probably would have killed everything. glad I decided to investigate and found them to be gunk, all temps on every tank back to normal using old school thermometer now.

Happy Yaya: The suction cups are not too good... They won't stay stuck to the glass. In a 20GALLON tank the temps are about .8 off each other so I'm not quite sure they are super accurate.

Sevans: These are perfect accurate and well worth the price. Had one for my smaller ten-gallon tank bought two more for my 55-gallon lager and medium 30-gallon tank Easy to read I did not like the suction cup for the thermometer itself but inside is alright. will add pictures at a later date.

JD: The shipment is fast and the product looks decent. The battery is installed already so I wonder how long it has been on. Another thing I don't like is that it will take a while before you can have the 'final' temperature read.

Steve: The price is definitely right. The time to arrive was super fast. However I was not impressed when I unpackaged and saw that they were not showing the same temperature even though they were packaged together. Used as part of my sons science experiment and placed in the same water source and again had different temp readings. One read about a degree and a half higher than the other. Ended up just using one of them to complete the experiment. But if my fishes lives were on the line I would not be comfortable given the results I had.

Pat-kunPat-kun: I was going to get a similar unit locally and saw this online and for the same price, you get two in a pack! That's already a great deal in itself!

Both units worked great out of the box. Mine had the batteries in them already though and was turned on, though I assumed that this was because it was tested before being shipped (and hopefully not a return).

Suction cup was so-so at first and kept falling a couple of times but after it had acclimated in our home, it is now sticking well and holding up. I used this on my daughter's 10g aquarium and the other one will be going in my wife's nano shrimp tank.

Accuracy wise, I'd say it is good enough and close to match actual aquarium temps.
Overall, I'd recommend this to those looking for a budget digital thermometer.
