Adam Berry: The range on it is pretty short, and it tops out at 150C so this is strictly for household/casual use. It's helpful to find pets in the dark, and if you ever smell pee, it will show up as a dark spot on thermal making it super easy to find. It also indicates insulation issues, like when I look at my front door I can see a bright ring around it, indicating that there's a lot of heat coming in from the edges.
The downside, it takes a long time to load up. Sometimes after several minutes I'll give up, restart the app, and then suddenly it connects in 10 seconds. (which for it, is fast) Frame rate is very choppy, and the image is prone to just seizing up for a couple seconds every now and then. Also even though there's an adjustable knob on the camera, if you use an Otterbox or any heavy-duty phone case, it won't fit. You'll either need to remove the case every time you want to use the FLIR, or get a USBC extension cable and hold the camera in one hand, phone in the other. でんでん: 想像以上に使えました。例えば、屋外にもっていけば、買い物でお惣菜で温かいものと冷たいものがすぐに見分けられます。
アプリは、差す方向で裏と表のどちらのカメラを使うか自動判定しているようで、なかなか便利でした。
ただ、USB TypeCの端子の接触があまりよくないときがあり、勝手に切断されることがあったので、そこは減点です。

Andy CowenAndy Cowen: Bring your portable battery pack because this thing eats the battery and doesn't hold a charge. I don't know why it couldn't run from.the phone battery but it doesn't. Keep that in mind and you'll have and okay experience.
I shared pictures of my cat, my electric panel to see the heat of the breaker, and the hot water heater pipes and exhaust.
I'm not sure the cost is worth it, but if you need this TOOL, then get it and spend less on a TOY. Comes with a nice protective case, it's tiny, so keep an eye on it.

りお: 解像度が高く普通の画像も同時に表示されるのでどこがホットスポットになっているかわかりやすいです。
ただし普通の画像とヒートマップ画像がズレるので一瞬勘違いしそうになります。
スマホと接続されるまで時間がかかるので、スリープになってしまっていたりすると一時的な加熱を撮り逃すことがあります。
スマホ側から電源ONにできないので、接続時は毎回本体のボタンを押す必要があるのも地味に面倒です、
ソフトウェアアップデート等で改善されるとよいのですが、スマホ接続の汎用性とのトレードオフなので許容範囲内と思っています。
基本性能★５、少々面倒なので★ー1です。

Mark A. Ward: Reading through the other reviews, I was a bit wary of how this IR camera attachment would work; many reviews saying it either didn't work or the app/phone didn't work. I've used this for a few weeks now and have had no issues at all. Phone: Moto G Power. I let it charge for a few hours and set my phone settings to auto open the Flir app when I plug in the attachment. The attachment is solid with my existing case. The included carrying case safely stores the attachment between uses and there are no accidental on/off button presses. Boot up takes about 20-30 seconds and power down about 2 seconds. The app is smooth and seamlessly auto rotates the screen when switching from vertical/horizontal viewing. The lag when moving about is less than a second and the image freezes for 1-2 seconds about every 2-3 min to recalibrate; or you can manually calibrate. The heat gradients are customizable and I set it to show the temp for the cross hair I have in the center of the screen for point temps. I also have two auto seeking cross hairs for the hottest and coldest temps on the screen at any given time; quite reliable and useful.
The battery has been found to last longer than anticipated....
