Evolving Knowledge: Didn't know if it does what it claims, but decided to go ahead and use it once a month during the winter season. Although only one log has been burned, I'm sold on its value.

After placing the log on a bed of red hot embers the log started burning, but thought it needed a little help. Using a searing torch the log burst into hot flames. After that the flames soared.

Once the log was burned out another wood log was placed on the red hot embers and to my surprise it flamed up quickly. Maybe it's my imagination, but the logs seemed to burn hotter. Regardless, I purchased another one to use in a month.
