MM: Great product, does what it says. Someone gave a poor review saying it was showing 97.7 every time they turned it on instead of memory, if they read the instructions it clearly says it would do that and you need to hold down the power button To access the memory function.

K. Lutz: Don't think its accurate. It doesn't store the latest temperature taken, it just keeps showing 97.7 as the last temp everytime. As I'm taking my temp early morning in the dark I want to be able to see the recorded temp later in the day but I can't do that.

Meggan: I tested the reviews of at LEAST 20 basal thermometers using fakespot and this one seemed to have legit reviews, so here's another one: this thing *seems* to take my temperature well. I mean, I don't have another thermometer's results to which I can compare it, so that's a bit of a sticking point, but I'm going for it anyway. I don't like how it says "Lo" whenever it turns on because, duuh, it makes one think that the battery is low, but apparently it's made that way.

It takes a little while to get the temp, and the 4 beeps when finished is a bit of overkill. People are sleeping—can't we just do 1-2 beeps?

Oh, but the auto-off feature is great!

DareDevil: nice and accurate product. good for monitoring the basal temperatures. recommended for every woman trying to conceive in early time periods.

SLRed: I think it's a pretty good basal thermometer for the price. I don't like how it takes so long (around 90 seconds) to read your temp but that might be because it's accurate. Also, it doesn't have a blacklight however the temp will appear on the thermometer long enough to get up out of bed/turn the light or phone light on to read it. It's quiet which is what I was looking for in a BBT thermometer- a lot of other ones I've read are really loud and beep a lot. This one beeps once when you turn it on, then 3 times when its done reading your temp- they are quiet beeps though which is good not to wake DH. :)

Reena: Good stuff. Perfect for measuring to 2nd percentile.However a bit less user friendly, and one needs to press the button quite a time and process it over and over again to get ' low F' , to start measuring the temp.

L. Clark: Its easy to use but takes about 3-4 minutes to get a reading. You have to check your temp before you even get up to go to the bathroom, I have a 2yr old and so if he starts crying early in the morning it sucks because I have to either wait 3-4 minutes to get the reading first or miss some mornings. it also tells you it does a "playback" but the playback is never what my last temp was so I have to make sure I write it down every morning. I do wish I would have gotten one with a backlite to make it easier to see.
Overall if you want it to just take a temp its perfect.

Amber: I think this thermometer is about average. There are definitely better ones on the market and there are certainly worse ones out there too.

Pros:
-Beeps every time you do something, which is good for taking your temp in the morning when you are barely awake
-Has a recall feature, though it is hard to push that little button long enough to see it.
-Has a cute little pink end, which deters your husband from stealing it off your nightstand.
-You can print additional temperature charts (it comes with one) for free from the manufacturers website.

Cons:
-It reads about 1.5 degrees higher than both of my other thermometers (I bought it because of the additional decimal place in the display -- easier to detect slight changes)
-The probe is REALLY thin, and I feel like I can snap it off with my tongue.
-It takes longer than other digital thermometers that I have used. I don't necessarily equate taking longer to read with being more accurate, so I'm going to go ahead and mark that down as a negative.

Overall, I'd say that you can get about the same product for a couple of dollars cheaper by going with another thermometer. Amazon does group this one...

Mommy of Cuties M & Z: It doesn't cost much and lets you chart accurately so based on that alone this is worth buying.

~~~Some people on here have complained that it takes too long to take your temp. I totally dissagree. It is a few minutes, maybe 5 minutes max and that is only if your temp. is at its highest which takes longer. My Dr said to keep the thermometer under the tongue for at least 2 minutes so if this was any quicker I wouldn't feel comfortable that it was accurate.

PRO's:
*Cheap($)
*Accurate
*It beeps when finished
*It beeps when turned on/off
*Memory recall

CON's:
*I though the button was hard to push, BUT I am always still able to turn it on/off
*It isn't backlit, BUT it also doesn't claim to be
*The memory recall you have to hold down the hard to push button pretty hard and the temp only lasts there seconds before dissapearing, BUT you can turn it off then on and do the recall again if you miss it the first time.

I take my temp in the dark so the beep on is great and I am always half asleep or fall back asleep with it in my mouth so the beep when finished is great then I can turn it off and get another beep. And since I am always half...
