Ellen: A great example of pain, guilt, and the relief of forgiveness. A journey about learning to let go and moving on with love in one's heart.

Vickie Watts: This is a beautiful story that tugged at my heart strings as Carol dealt with the loss of her husband Tobias, her daughter Katie who had died over two decades previously and now the imminent death of her ex-husband John. In traveling together to finally say goodbye to Katie, Carol discovers that she can forgive and move on with life. I enjoyed the story even though it was highly emotional. The pacing was good, but I did think the chapters were too long and the novel itself was a bit wordy at times. The characters were realistic. John was likable but not lovable and Carol was relatable and I just wanted to give her a hug for surviving all that she had to go through. The ending was perfect!
I checked out a copy of this book from the library on the Libby App. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Lisa: From reviews I was expecting better but it was just an 'ok' read.

Lynette Joudrey: Well worth the read, contains the lessons we all learn, but sometimes don't get resolved. Both characters in the book had their own demons, however, I loved every nail biting moment. Couldn't put it down until it was read. I'd recommend it in a heart beat.
