Heather Lynn: Lately I’ve been semi-curious about an alternate universe. I’ve heard compelling stories and it made me think about it a bit which is why I think I was intrigued by this book. I thought the writing was nice and I liked the characters. Overall it was a good story.

Barbara L. Stacey: The story drew me in from the first page. Annie's deep longing I'd poignant. I was fiercely on her side through the entire novel. I felt the ache of her desires and the frustration of everyone's disbelief and assumptions.

It's one that will leave you thinking.

Recluse: ….with a soupçon of Sci-Fi (++). So I struggled with my rating. Probably would have given 4.5 stars but it was worth rounding up. I felt like it dragged a little in the middle but fresh ideas and scenarios always came in to rescue the narrative.

Not the first book to tackle the “Person wakes up with no memory/different memories/a whole new life” but it did so wonderfully seamlessly and engagingly.

Totally captivated me and I felt that Annie’s confusion and longing was palpable. I was sure the ending was going to be a let down (because how could it NOT be?) but I was pleasantly surprised at how everything got wrapped up and resolved. Very satisfying!!

MJ Symmonds: This was a really great "What if" book. The characters we fantastic and the flow of the story was just great. Really loved the parallels shown and how it was all perfectly tied up at the end. Will definitely be looking to read other books by this author.

Jade: It's been a while since reading to reviewing this book but it's one of those I'll never forget and I'm so glad I read.
It is one of the most thought provoking books I've ever read. The subject matter that is explored in this book is something I've never thought about. But I did after reading this book. I just remember thinking for days afterwards 'what if?.' It really did make me think about experiences in my own life. It affected me so much I even had a conversation with my husband about this book. It just blew my mind honestly.
I don't want to write too much in my review as I don't want to spoil it for potential readers.
I would give it 10 stars of I could.
I HIGHLY recommend this book! It's just an absolute must read to me.

Amazon Customer: When started to read this book could not put it down. Could not wait to see how finished. Did get a little confusing in parts. I worked out the ending quite early on but then decided that was not going to be the ending.
A good book with an underlying meaning which does make you question your own beliefs on the way life is lived a little.

AshNap: Let me firstly say, I did enjoy this book. Its right up there with the type of thing I love to read. But I came to this book with a different perspective, expecting to read a 'grown up' type of book about a mum whos life changes after a car accident and leads her life based on the event. Which it did. But I read it in two sittings expecting it to clarify which kind of genre it was firmly in, or expecting something else almost logical to happen to answer questions. It wasn't until i finished it that I realised it was very sci-fi/fantasyesque/ time travellers wife type vibe. I love that kind of book where you really dive into other spectres of imagination but from reading the blurb and a good bit of the book I wasn't expecting it to be like that.
I thourghly enjoyed the authors writing, can't believe it was a debut novel, and the depth to the characters had me pulled right in, I would genuinely love to see a sequel as there potentially could be further exploration but brilliant book.
Overall I maybe felt a bit confused as to what the genre was until the very end but was a great book 👍🏼
