The body tapers down to diameter about 15/16 inch and then there is a lanyard 6 inches long. The on/off switch has a rubber cap and works with precision. The body internal has fins to keep the AA batteries centered. It is easy to load the two batteries and compress the contact spring with LED assembly while screwing together. M. Little: They’re lightweight and have little strings attached to the end. Thought I was getting the old school thicker wand style but I kept them anyway. Don’t care for the ropes attached but they’re good lights and sustain my tough kiddos playing with them.

C. Chelsea Reinsel: Average flashlight. It seems like any old flashlight you would buy at the hardware store would be as handy. But it's been hard for me to find an average Good flashlight.

This flashlight isn't the blinding BRIGHT kind of light. I like this flashlight!
And so far it's worked great! (No flickering).

These are not much bigger than my medium/small hand. A good purchase for walking the dog. These aren't so big that they feel like a burden to bring on a dog walk. It's lightweight; and doesn't weigh my pocket down when I don't quite need it. Convince your family to pack one of these "just incase".

salt of the earthsalt of the earth: nothing special....with all the cheap metal flashlights out there, it is difficult to recommend single led plastic ones unless you need a light weight design or one that floats. This does both, is ok bright, and is NOT focusable that I can tell. With that said, it is a basic flashlight that is not heavy to carry, will take some abuse because it is light and plastic and is handy for putting in places where you don't want an expensive metal one sitting like a tackle box, the depths of trunk of a car, the kitchen everything drawer. All in all these are nice to have and forget until you need it.

Hunter: I love being a member of the Home Tester Club, #freesamples. I received the Energizer Eveready 2-pack at it is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend for anyone! The flashlights are very compact and lightweight which is perfect for the go on a camping trip or storing away for a night the power goes out. The LED bulbs are really strong and bright and provide great illumination for a significant distance, easily lighting up a small room. The flashlights only require 2 AA batteries and while I could not test this, I imagine it would provide a long battery life. If you are in need of some emergency flashlights or want to have something small and compact but very effective for a camping trip or nighttime outdoor activity, this is a great product for you!
