Action from start to finish, including the investigative genius which is Eve, her consultant husband Rourke,her team of detectives and her analysts.
Always a fresh, good read to get the adrenaline souring. Gritty to the end.

Bob Hurley: In my review of an earlier Eve Dallas thriller, I admitted that I am not a science fiction fan , and thus , as these JD Robb, Lieutenant Eve Dallas books are I was hesitant. However, they are very good reading. Dallas, Peabody, Rouarke, and Reo are such complex characters and have an interesting relationship. Dallas is a "Cop" through and through and, to some extent, takes Murder as a personal affront. When her and Peabody are sent to a murder scene, little do they expect there to be 2 murders in close proximity. Rouarke's involvement with one of the murder sites brings him and his relationship with Dallas front and centre. Great writing, great thriller.
