The ENERWAVE Z-Wave Plus Relay is the perfect addition to any home automation setup. This hidden smart switch provides wireless remote control to lights and ceiling fans, and is easy to install and use. It is compatible with 120-277VAC and 10A, and requires a neutral wire. With voice control capability and superior sturdiness, the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS is one of the best Home Automation Modules available. Available in black, it is sure to fit in with any décor. Dutch_Guy: Easy install behind a wall plate to control outdoor lighting through the phone or automated routine while still being able to use the regular light switch if needed.
Make sure that the antenna wire is moved to the front behind the wall plate for good reception. This makes a lot of difference.
Pressing the program button and then use the device scan feature in smartthings to find the relay switch easily.
I did have to use one wire cap on hand that was not included with relay switch. Keep safety in mind and shut off breaker to disconnect power before installing this relay switch.
Manual can be found online through manufacture if you want to zoom in on text since the font in the manual is very small.

Chris Majestic: The media could not be loaded. I've attached my Smart Home Lighting Guide to help people with the installation of these Micro-switches.
I have a few of these around my house. They work well for someone who wants to keep their original light switches in place and want to inconspicuously integrate Z-Wave control into the switch.
I didn't have any issues at all when wiring these to a single pole light switch. You just wire them up using the included wiring diagram and you're good. The inputs are low voltage since they're just wired directly to your light switch. I love that they come with pigtail wires instead of smaller screw terminals. The Aeon Labs micro switch had terrible terminals and I prefer this over the Aeon Labs switch.
If you plan on using one of these in a 3-way setup you MUST have Line, Load, and Neutral all in the same box. You can't get one of these to work if your Line and Load are in 2 separate boxes unless you have an unused wire running between the boxes that you can use to carry line to both boxes. Trust me. I've spent hours trying to make this work. If that's your situation, your best bet is to either buy a GE Toggle switch with a GE Add on...

M. Beatty: Great little device.... and makes me REALLY happy that I've finally found an alternative to the expensive practice of using a master switch with slave switches on 3 and 4 way installations.... that can get expensive in a hurry. This little relay works just fine in 3 and 4way circuits assuming 2 things, you have a neutral and an unswitched, always hot feed in the switch box of the switch just before the load goes to the lights. Most all newer homes should be wired this way.
To wire this up in a 3 way configuration, first turn off the power. Next remove the cover plate and switch from the wall (either switch, you're just guessing at this point) and remove the 3 wires from the switch and taking note how it is wired up. Now turn the power back on, then using a multimeter, touch one lead to each of the 3 wires and the other to the bare copper ground. Note which wire has voltage on it. Now go flip the other switch that is still hooked up. Then go back and check the voltage again. If the voltage is still on the same wire it was before, you chose poorly. This is the wrong switch. Turn the power off, rewire it, put it back in the wall, and go pull the other one out of the wall and...
