BARBARA MCCLURE: I have walnut stained doors. Repaired the door with the wood filler. Sanded the door and bought some walnut stain to stain the door. Did not stain the filler. I had to dig out the wood filler and then buy more wood filler. I'm not a happy person. Digging that wood filler out caused bigger damage to the door. l should have taken a picture before I dug the filler out. If there was a way I could give no stars I would. All that work and door is still not finished.

Tom Marshall: Was a little hesitant buying this product since haven't had much luck with wood putty matching or being easy to apply in the past. Then I was really surprised to see was a pink color. But it was very easy to apply. Was just like mud on drywall. Dried overnight to a tan color that was darker than my white Pine. But after sanding it I was really surprised that it not only matched my white pine that it was very hard to see what was really the wood and what was really the wood puddy. This is extremely important to my project since I'm not staining this wood. I'm just going to put a clear poly coat to protect it. Very very impressed with this product.

jebbard: I had an older bar that was cracked all across the top. I figured I could feather this filler in and reinforce the top as the crack made the top drop down a bit on one side. I let it dry overnight. When pushed on it mostly cracked the next day. I then tried to sand it off but that was difficult and maybe 70% came off. I then purchased wood epoxy and that worked much better for what I needed. I continued to sand with orbital sander to smooth out epoxy and wood filler. When done the filler dried much lighter and even when stained it would not lighten. So there is a big strip of lighter filler on both sides of the crack. I stained and sealed with poly. Much better than it was but wish I had only used the wood epoxy.
