Allen: I was looking for replacement fireplace tools that were similar to ones I already owned. Two of the four tools I own had worn out or did not work well and I cannot find replacements for individual tools. This caused me to have to buy an entire new set. I found the Oxford five piece set that had tools that looked similar to those I owned. I also like the tong type offered in this set. I received the tools set (all tools assembled as well as the holder stand assembled) and was satisfied with the look of the tools. However, as mentioned in another review for this product that I read, the holder stand is poor. Two of the tools placed in the holder stand depend on simply leaning against a rectangular C-shaped holder. Almost immediately the tools leaning against this fell out and I had to catch them. If these has fallen on my ceramic tile hearth, the heavy handle would almost for sure cracked the ceramic tile. I'm not even going to take a chance with this. The tools were so similar to my old tools that the new ones from this Oxford set fit in my existing stand and it has a proper slot configuration for hanging tools instead of depending on "leaning" the tools against something. Jo Ann Licetti: I bought this for our son s new house for Christmas. It came fully assembled, all he had to do was put hang the tools on the stand part. It is very sturdy and looks great beside the fireplace. We recommend it highly.
