Craig: I finally got to use this pump on my above ground pool cover. It moves a lot of water through a regular garden hose. It is VERY quiet, so quiet I wasn't sure it was even running. It weighs just enough so the water runs towards it, it also does not suck the pool cover up against the intake. I would buy this again.

Monica L.: Would have given this 5 stars if it kept working after one use.
We used this to drain the last couple of inches from the bottom of our Intel above ground pool, and it worked beautifully, but the next time we used it to drain a couple of inches that pooled in a tarp, there was no more suction. We cleaned it, the motor runs ok but no suction...based on other reviews with similar issues, this product shouldn't cost more than $20 as a 1 time use item

Intro Systems: Only had the pump for a month, but with all the rain we get on the west coast the pump seems to keep up when i need to clear the winter cover. Would def purchase this pump again.

Nelson Yoshimoto: Product met my expectations. It did move water out of a low spot. Cleaning filter was easy. Biggest drawback is the plastic housing. Part of it broke but I was able to tape it up. Did not cause pump to fail. Good pump for the money.

West Texas: First: I'm very good at updating reviews if the situation changes so even though I just got this pump I can't speak to durability yet, but if it turns out to have a poor lifespan you can bet I'll be back updating this review. That said, I love this thing. I like that really long electrical cord that is intended to keep you away from the water and getting electrocuted when plugging this thing in. I also like the hose connection being on the side rather than the top which can lead to a kinked hose. After fighting plastic pool covers that constantly tear and sink and never lasted a full season I bought a heavy duty cover that I really like. The only problem was it collects a lot of rain water with no easy way to drain the water off. Even though my new cover is much more durable than the old covers I had tried, as it filled with water it was inevitable that it would try to sink and possibly tear. Meanwhile, I'd have all this water fermenting on top of the cover. Enter this pump. I hooked it to my garden hose, plugged it in and watched it pull all the water off the pool cover. I used the pool brush to pull the last inevitable little puddles of water on the cover towards the pump. A...
