Michael R.: I have a older tower, using windows 10, it's a little frustrating try to install this, long run - worth it. Has a small CD, in my case, it wouldn't get recognized, so, you have to have wifi wired to access the net to download the drive, they are zipped. Then download the drives to the device. Then, the normal password etc and it works just like a tablet or phone. Time consuming but the end results 👍

Ari G.: Recently, my WiFi card went out on my gaming laptop, so I wasn't able to access any sort of Wifi connection, and as a college student I don't really have the money (or the knowledge) to replace the card. I bought this as a solution to the problem and it works great.

It came in a small box with instructions on how to install the software on their site, and also, came with a small installation disk that you can use as an alternative. It works fine without installing the software, but getting the software might be something worth considering to keep its drivers up to date.

I've yet to try it with more CPU heavy gaming, but it's been able to hold up a connection while playing some other games (such as Minecraft and Terraria) and has worked fine while live-streaming. You can also adjust it as needed to get the best signal. I just use it sticking straight up and it works perfectly fine.

It does appear to be cheaply made, but I'm not complaining as that is what I paid for. My biggest complaints are: It sticks out a quite bit from the side of my computer. I'm not surprised, but I just worry that during transport it might break if it gets caught on something or my dog...

Zury: For those with a Mac and are wondering if this works, it does.

Plug it into your device, download the driver from their website (they also provide a small CD with the packaging if you with to use that instead) and follow the instructions. The only thing that I was stuck on was that once you click on the icon at the top of your menu bar, a message pops up saying the "Systems Extension Blocked" for the device.

The way to fix this, is by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Unlock the key > then hit "Allow" button under "General" tab where it says the developer was blocked. Restart the computer, then you should be good to go in reconnecting to your WiFi.

I was getting about 50-70 mbps on my iMac previously and now I'm getting over 100 mbps, sometimes closer to 200 depending on how the antenna is pointed. Wish I could be getting more since I'm paying for 300 mbps but I'll take what I can get.

So if you're struggling to get a good signal, this should do the trick. I'm satisfied with the product and hoping it helps me over time.

Irvin M.Irvin M.: Honestamente, tire el disco que viene en la cajita, no es necesario instalar el driver ni nada, solo lo conectas y ya, aparte que no tengo bahía de lector de disco. En segunda, es super fácil de colocar, solo conectas y listo, de preferencia un puerto USB 3.0 para mayor fluidez. De comprar una tarjeta o placa de red (como le llamen) es mejor este porqué en PC si a futuro piensas pasar a cable ethernet la quizás y la usas en una laptop o es más fácil de usar y de pasar de pc a otra pc o a otra laptop. Y para finalizar, estuve viendo tests en internet de adaptadores WIFI y este es el que mejor resultado obtuvo por eso no dude en comprarlo, aparte por el precio es una ganga, super recomendado.

Akos B.: Pretty good for the price, although I've had a few intermittent dropped connections. For some reason, the antenna seems to fall on it's own and hang by the wire because the plastic parts don't fit fantastically well together

Heather: Just as described. I took it out of the package and plugged it in. All I had to do was put a password in for the internet provider and it was up and running. I couldn't be happier. Shipping was quick. All round excellent purchase. Would definitely deal with this seller again.
