Hambone: I use this for sink out in garage. It works for one sink.
It takes a few to get going, I have found if you dont turn hot water all the way on for 10 seconds or so, it gets hot way faster.
It stays warm fairly well, so when I am in garage for a while to use second time and so on it is a lot faster.
I would not call this instant by any means, but for my garage it works very well for the price

Great gardener: Product does not work at all. Contacted supplier by email . Immediate response to send pictures video, etc. Did that 10 days ago and no response again. I sent 5 follow ups. Amazon customer service cannot reach them either.

Gareth Nisbett: Easy to set up and install except for the cold water inlet line, very difficult to get it to quit leaking, finally used a thread sealant.
Usage is another matter. Very little increase in water temp above inlet temp. I live in Eastern WA. and it is summer time, water supply is from our well, approx 57F, 45 psi. It would indicate an output of maybe 98F but as measured with a number of calibrated devices was really only 80 ish. In common with other reviewers I found I had to dial the water flow back to not much more than a trickle to get anything near 100F regardless as to what the heater was set to. Then to make matters worse I could just stand there and watch the indicated output (hot) water temp slowly drop to about 75F then slowly rise again somewhere around 100F and then repeat. Never could get to 100F actually out of the faucet (which was mounted directly below the heater).
Very disappointed. I bought 2 of these and they both act the same. They were for use in our lab. which is part of our winery and we need hot water for sanitizing, thought these units would be perfect. If the product details on Amazon's site were truthful they would have been. I...

Troy VelieTroy Velie: I bought this for tiny house/hunting cabin project. I have a 50Amp RV power hookup and was looking for on demand water heating for sink and shower. Since it may be a few weeks in between visits to the cabin I was shopping for a unit that is 1) Tankless to avoid keeping water in a water heater tank, and 2) On demand and small enough that would not draw too much power. I was looking at both the 5.5kW and 6.5kW model from Ecotouch and decided to go with the 5.5kW. If you are comfortable with the plumbing and able to install a 30amp double pole breaker for the 240V supply the installation is pretty simple. The unit is surprisingly small and simply hangs on the wall. I have the heater below the sink, and shower stall built right next to it so the pipe is very short going to either sink or shower. From testing so far the heater works as advertised. Easy to turn on and adjust the desired temperature, and after selecting temperature the display switches to show current temp in the unit. In my setup the water is pumped from holding tank in the cabin itself so starting temp stays around 65-67 degrees. I keep the unit set at 110 degrees output. The pump is 2.9...

Mike: The unit is used on a washroom sink which only has a cold water supply. Since the washroom is of low usage it is not feasible to have a hot water tank. Unit works very well for washing hands.

John Matel: What I wanted was a small point of use water heater that would not overheat the water. This product has met my expectations. My house hot water tank is about 40 (pipe)feet from the kitchen. It takes over 1 minute of running the hot water to get the hot water to the sink. I installed the heater in the riser hot water line of my kitchen sink faucet. IMPORTANT: USE ONLY A GFCI CIRCUIT BREAKER to power this device.

Now installed, it now takes about 2-3 seconds for the water to "start feeling warmer" and about 10-15 seconds to be at 110 degrees. More importantly, when the 130 degree house hot water finally reaches this unit, it will not overheat the water coming out the faucet. The hot water coming out your faucet will eventually be at your house hot water temperature. It's also important to know that the colder your input water, the lower the temperature will be AND/OR, the higher the water flow, the lower the temperature. Our winter cold water is about 65 degrees normally. This little unit can supply 107 degree water at full flow, within 30 seconds or so. Eventually, 120 degrees after about 1 minute at full flow.

It won't work miracles. If...
