Easy@Home Smart Basal Thermometer (EBT-300) - Purple

Erika: I got this so it would be easier to track my temperature for fertility purposes. You are supposed to take your waking temp before even grtting out of bed. It takes longer than I realized to read the temperature and beep stating it's complete. I almost always end up taking it more than once because I fall back asleep while waiting. It also disconnects from the app pretty much everyday so I have to reconnect it. It does save the Temps though so it's not the worst, I just try to do it once a week instead of every day. Overall it's a good product, I just wish it was quicker.

wendy: The media could not be loaded.  It measures the temperature, however I can’t get it to pair to my phone! I bought a second one thinking it might be defective however… both seems to be the same…. Debating if it’s even worth keeping or just return it and get a normal basal thermometer 😓

Olsen Franziska: Also das Koppeln hat mehrere Versuche gebraucht. Aber sobald das Erfolg hatte wurde alles angezeigt und richtig geloggt. Auch ohne Premium App funktioniert alles bestens bei mir.
Wenn ich erwache stecke ich das Thermometer unter die Zunge und lasse es erstmal da, bis es sich nichtmehr kalt anfühlt. Dann starte ich die Messung. So gibt es auch in Zweitmessungen kaum Unterschiede.
Früher waren Zyklusthermometer richtig teuer..... vor 20 Jahren gab es ein einziges Produkt für gegen 2k Euro, so Erzählungen, jetzt ist das hier mit 36 Euro die günstigste selbst aufzeichnende und speichernde Variante und ich bin echt zufrieden.

Ich vermute, viele schlechte Rezensionen kommen von schlechter bzw falscher Handhabung. Braucht etwas Infointeresse und Fingerspitzengefühl.

Den Stern Abzug gibt es für den Fact, dass es überhaupt eine PremiumApp gibt.
Ich bin der Meinung Information und Support für besseres kennen des eigenen Zyklus sollten jedem zur Verfügung stehen, besonders, wenn es dafür ein bereits erworbenes Produkt benötigt. Auch wäre es toll, wenn mein Partner auch Einsicht in die App hätte halt in vereinfachter Form. Vielleicht einfach nur einen...

Haylee: I got pregnant after three months of tracking. I would say the only down side is how long it takes to get the temperature. I love the Bluetooth feature as I don’t have to remember what it read after my morning temps.

Aneta Hartung: Ich habe zum Vergleich 4 verschiedene Basalthermometer bestellt. Diese war die teuerste und hat leider als erste "versagt".
Die Verbindung zur App war kein Problem. Meine Testmessungen unterm Arm wurden genau 2 min lang gemessen, dann stoppt die Messung. Die Anzeige bleibt, aber es wird nicht weiter gemessen, obwohl sich die Temperatur noch deutlich geändert hat (was bei jedem anderen Thermometer sichtbar war). Die Werte wurden dann ohne Probleme in die App übertragen, allerdings gibt es von der App eine kostenloste und eine Premiumvariante. Leider muss man trotz schon recht hohem Preis für das Thermometer das Premiumabo dazu holen. Ohne Premium kann man die Werte zwar eintragen, aber die Grafik wie bei den Produktbildern werden nur mit Premium angezeigt. Auch jegliche Artikel werden (stand Feb 2023) bei der kostenlosen Variante nicht angezeigt.
Wenn man also nicht noch zusätzlich eine App bezahlen will, kann das Thermometer absolut nichts mehr als jedes andere für 10 oder 14 Euro.

Da man nach NFP mindestens 3 Minuten lang messen soll, kann man dieses Thermometer dafür nicht verwenden. Da helfen auch diverse Tricks wie in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben...

Jade Fries: If you are trying to conceive and actively taking your temp every morning, you know what a struggle that can be. This thermometer Bluetooth’s to your phone so you can take your temp and fall back asleep easily. My only complaint, and it’s not even a huge one, is that the beep on the thermometer is very loud! Makes it kind of annoying in the middle of the night when I’m trying not to disturb my husband while I take my temp. The PreMom app has to be running in the background of your phone for it to automatically sync. Otherwise you simply open the app, press the button on the thermometer and it seamlessly syncs! Great buy!

VickyVicky: Es un termómetro que hace su funcion. Otros usuarios se han quejado de la emparejacion y sincronización con la App, en mis caso en un 10. Se compró porque decian que son más precisos, con lo cual entendía que las variaciones iban a ser de 0.01, pero realmente es del 0.1, en la imagen las primeras tomas fueron con el convencional, remarcadas en amarillo, y en cuanto llegó empezamos a usar el recomendado.
He hecho una comparativa entre el normal y este, tomándome la temperatura en la boca a la vez, y el convencional me ha dado 36.5, y este 36.13. Aún estamos aprendiendo a usar y entender la TBC y ver si realmente era necesario comprarlo o con el convencional era suficiente.

Patrick Henry: I love everything about this thermometer…bluetooth compatibility with a tracking app, color, size of display, memory, easy short press to turn it on (I have a thermometer for my babies that has some wonky long press on/off button that takes five very irritating tries to turn on, which usually results in an error).

But I should’ve taken the few reviews a little more seriously that said HOW LONG this thing takes to read your temperature in the morning. It is almost impossible for me, but this problem might be compounded by nursing, toddlers, and irregular sleep schedule.

I don’t want to say that I wouldn’t buy it again, only because I’m not sure on better options and the price point for similar fertility monitors is worth trying it, but I’m not sure how long I can continue with this.

xFireFoxyxFireFoxy: The media could not be loaded.  Firstly I'd like to mention I bought two.
As soon as I payed for the first one and went back on the page, the price had dropped significantly.
So I cancelled the first one which I'm waiting for my money back.

Anyway.

You can take your tempreture right from the get go, but if you want the date and time to be correct or set the temperature to Celsius or Fahrenheit you MUST download the app. (I'll explain how below)

I downloaded the app and put some random dates in to set it up as I don't really plan on using this app as I prefer using glow.

The instructions or anything online doesn't match up to the app, it's compleatly changed.
(I'm on android S21ultra) 📱

This honestly gave me a headache and my face was glowing red. 😡
But I figured it out... 🙃

On the home screen go to Log BBT (circled red in my pic 📸 )
Then the option to add thermometer will be under BBT.

Yeah that simple! After nearly caving my head in trying to figure out why my screen looked different. 🙄

I don't know exactly how much is included with the free version of the app and I don't really plan to...
