First, no, these are not easy to install. Take your time, is the best advice.
This is the 2nd one I've done and, got it done, in a few shifts on that day. Prepare to take breaks so you can get it out of your head, yes, it gets into your head. It's not easy. But it goes ok if you take your time.
Our doors are 30 years old, cheap garage doors so the track isn't great and makes it more of a challenge, but if you take your time (see a trend?) and work it through, with a spray lube, like silicone, you'll get it done.
This time I got it done easier, or maybe I was just more familiar, although it's been many years since I did the first one. Once it was done, trimmed to cover just about the entire bottom, it's sealed great!

Amazon Customer: I’m giving this item 3/5 stars because when I connect the 2 sides together to make it a tube, it is very twisted. So after installation, it looks wrinkled like bacon. This resulted in gaps and does not create a complete seal.

MAM: The product would not stay together for us to get it into the garage, there were no directions, we watched the video online, and followed the directions. The P was slightly too big to fit in the slot. So we returned it. We had to pay $15 freaking dollars to return the item because this company doesn't pay for returns. The return shipping label they sent us said we had to pay our own postage. It didn't fit, I paid $40 for an item that didn't fit and then I lost $15 for returning it. So annoyed. Making sure I only order from Amazon and not a third party on Amazon in the future.

Jake V:
Better material than the vinyl ones. Fit my door perfect but it is not good for any gaps bigger than 1.25 inches.
I laid it out for 2 days prior to install. Pulled the old one out and cleaned out the track, then sprayed the track with wd40. I was able to pull this new weather strip in by myself in less than 15 mins. Just feed and guide it. The ends do not lock or snap into place, they just come together. The rail will hold them together once fed through.
It was also stiffer than my old one, so I had to slightly adjust the closing setting on my door.
It has already made a difference in the garage though. Much warmer.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This product has the look and feel of a higher quality seal than most of what is out there. The key here is to make sure you get the right size P-Bulb product. The first one I bought had a P-bulb that was too small and would not stay in the track. In the attached picture you will see the difference between P-Bulb sizes. The one on top is the correct size and the one on the bottom is what I mistakenly purchased. In the middle is the worn out seal. Second, it’s important to ensure you can feed the assembled seal straight into the channel….don’t forget to use some spray silicone on the seal as it is fed in the slot. In my case I had to remove the bottom track wheel so the rail would no interfere with a straight feed. Next I suggest taking a wide chisel (2-3”) and move it through the track too slightly enlarge the slot. Once the seal is installed the track can be re-narrowed with a large pliers or hammer and chisel. It took me only about an hour to complete the installation, despite what some reviewers encountered. Best of luck…and patience helps too.
