Ida: Tried to keep to recommended baking time but was not cooked. Baked longer n it turns out dry. Had a metallic taste too which I guess may be due to excessive baking soda.

manila: This is my first time trying a lemon cake and it was a game changer! It looked like cornbread when it first comes out of the oven, but once cooled, it tasted great. Nice and moist with a light refreshing lemon taste. I made it into a cake with 12 even slices and it didn’t make it to the next day! Kids as well as elderly enjoyed it and it didn’t need any frosting at all as it was sweet enough without being too overpowering as some cakes are

Sheila Short: I disliked that I did not read package very well as I never in my long life paid $14.99 for a normal sized boxed cake mix and never will again as I will read the whole written parts on the box. The taste is good but not outstanding
