bhw: Excellent guide for anyone visiting the island for the first time. It provides all the information you wish and more regarding: traveling (how to get around the island), driving tips and routes, maps, activities, attractions, restaurants, cultural and historical overview, and more.

M J in Nor Cal: Love these books and have one for each island we visited and refer to it constantly. Best if you get it ahead of your visit to plan and block out those thing you 'gotta do'. I feel the reviews are unbiased and honest, tell it like it is.

Kim R: This is an amazing tool for travellers. It was just updated in 2022 which makes it even more relevant. There are numerous maps that cover the island which for us, REALLY helped when we rented a car. We didn't have data on our cell phones (so no GPS / MAPS) and good luck finding paper maps. The tips on the sights and attractions were written with unbiased (truly) opinion and spot on. An excellent resource book!

Diane: I used the book in conjunction with online research for our trip to Oahu. Brought the book with us on the trip to refer to and look up areas while we were there. Unfortunately our trip got cut short by the COVID-19 situation but I will be holding on to the book to re-use when travel is an option again. Also gifted a copy of the book to friends who have been to Oahu many times and they found some new info too!
