Jackie HammondJackie Hammond: Man I've been buying this product from Amazon for about 2 years because Maytag suggested to find it here and I was cool with it. It is a really great product. A couple of days ago, I went into Lowes to get something and stubbled across the same product and it was $8.49. I was shocked, so shocked i came home, grabbed the original bag i saved and took it to Lowes. It sure as hell was the same thing, only difference is it was a 40lb bag in Lowes and not the 50 lb bag the company left for me. I just could not believe Lowes had a 40lb bag for about $30 cheaper. Kathleen C.: We purchased this product for our water softener and it works as a product. Just be careful when opening the packaging, as our bag had burst or opened in transit and we didn’t realize it until it had spilled all over the floor upon opening the box.
