I got this as a Christmas gift because I have a hard time finding good bread machine mixes locally. I made the bread in a basic bread machine and the bread turned out wonderfully. It has a good, clean bread flavor without all the icky additives and high fructose corn syrup that makes bread flavorless and lasting for months. The bread also has a great consistency where it is firm enough to stand up to have spreads etc. added to it while also being soft. Growing up in a bread eating country, I have struggled finding good bread in the USA without going and buying expensive $8 loaves at bakeries. Finding a machine mix that is the same quality of bread that I can buy in the store at home is a use bonus.
The only con I found was that the instructions called for melted and cooled butter. Since I typically use oil when baking bread, I substituted a canola/olive oil for the butter and it did turned out well.
