Yash: My record player took a shot and stopped playing after I changed the original stylus on the cartridge with a generic one (like the ones that come in this pack)... The music stopped and all I could hear was the horrible buzz of faulty sound equipment... I was trying to do "maintenance"! Even after I put back the original stylus on, there was still no sound (at least not music... But the horrible buzz was here). The needle was skating which is bad news for your precious records... I was enough of an idiot to test on what I consider the greatest album of all times, every time I made a modification. I wasn't sure whether replacing BOTH the cartridge and stylus would fix the issue but from my research on the www, the odds were fairly favourable.

Guess what! It did fix it!! I'm gonna buy another pack right now to have as spare.

As for the greatest album of all times: Metropolis Pt II: Scenes From A Memory by Dream Theater.

Tanner purvis: It's perfect, they are the exact same size as the original factory installed needle and they sound great. The company replacement needles I bought several months ago were advertised as being the size of the factory original, but were no where close to the same size, so I was a bit skeptical about these, but one I opened them I could already tell they were the right size. And you get 5 needles for a very decent price, compared to the factory replacements which was only 2 needles that are the wrong size and expensive compared to these that are the right size, I would highly recommend these. Edit: i recomend switching your current catridge with the one that come with these, ive been using these for a while and the sound was kinda wonky but after switching out the cartridge the sound quality is 1000% better than it was, even better than the first time i used my player.

Ironman: You can't beat the price on these. I have seen just one sell for the same price, but you get 5 here. I purchased this as a replacement for one that broke on my daughter's record player. Easy install and the sound quality is same as original.

Cameron Lee: Purchased as replacement cartridges for a Jensen JTA-230. They're easy to install and the sound quality is about as good as you're likely to get for a Jensen JTA-230. Great bang-for-buck.

Caveat: I've only used one of the five cartridges, so I can't speak to the quality of each of the cartridges in the package. I'll update this review I note any inconsistencies in that respect.
