Lisa: Product as described - well not 100% sure they are the best ever, but they work really well and feel nice to hold. Nice and sharp. Dogs are happy enough to let me use them

Kindle Customer: This is my second pair, as my new dog decided the first pair was a chew toy. I like the size of the handles and they are a bit rubbery so feel secure in the hand. I don't find the file useful, we use a dremel or a human's nail file if we need to take a sharp edge off.
They work well on large Labs and my beagle-mix (when I can get her to stop squirming).

Kenneth K.Kenneth K.: Easy to use once the dogs are finished sniffing them ,they do not make a super clean cut but that could be a combination of my inexperience or the thick nails on my dogs ,they seem very sturdy and no sloppiness to them the file might be ok but it aint happening with either of my St.Bernards

sandrasandra: I never liked cutting my dog's nails. He is now 9 years old. I would always take him to the vet and get his nails cut there. I would always pay to have someone else do it $30, sometimes even $40 up to $50 each visit. (Toronto/Canada). I'd pay anything to not have to do it myself. During Covid however his claws got awfully long and I would always hear him before I saw him. Working from home the clicking and clacking was driving me nuts. I finally caved and bought these. Now I'm cutting his nails like a pro! The first time I cut too much and a little blood came out but he didn't whimper and it dried quick so it wasn't too deep because of the stopper. Since then I have been getting better and now he's even sneaking up on me 😉

Tess: Clippers are nice, sturdy construction. For my purposes, they work okay. I am left-handed and have a hard time using the clippers without being unsteady. They do not clip as well in the left hand. I also have three dogs from 12 lbs. to 85 lbs. This clipppers work best on my large dog. The little one, the guard to prevent clippipng to far on the nail is too deep. So I recommend for big dogs, but would shy away from using them on the little ones.

JPL: Works much better than any guillotine-style trimmers I've used, or the kind with tiny little scissor-style looped handles that I can't get my fingers through. When your dog is really fidgety about getting trimmed, you want something you can get a solid grip on and get the job done quickly. If your dog is highly anxious about being trimmed, have another person there to hold the dog (size permitting). Have some treats handy, then present the clippers. Immediately have the dog-handler give the dog a treat. Gradually work your way up to tapping the dog's paw with the clippers, followed by an immediate treat. Repeat several times and if all goes to plan, the dog should start to associate the clippers with getting a treat. If nothing else, the treats could distract them enough that you can get the job done somewhat easier. There are plenty of videos showing this technique you can find with a quick google. Also lookup a little bit about the anatomy of a dog's claw. If the dog has dark/opaque nails, it's hard to tell how high you can clip without hitting the quick and causing the dog pain. Play it safe, if you hit the quick, it'll hurt the dog and there will be some bleeding and the task...

Alexis: These clippers are definitely easy to use and do their job at clipping my lab's nails but they do leave them very sharp and the filer they gave is a little flimsy and a bit too small for me to grind down her nails with especially with her not liking her paws to be handled for more than a shake. I just take her downtown and walk her all over town wearing down the sharps end naturallly. 4/5 stars-Great for clipping for all users just beware of sharp nails at the end.
