Are you looking for a reliable and efficient way to trim and smooth your dog's nails? Look no further! The BOUSNIC Dog Nail Grinder 2-Speed is the perfect tool for the job. This upgraded rechargeable pet nail trimmer is designed to provide a gentle and painless experience for small, medium, and large dogs. It's built with quality, durability, and value in mind, making it the best choice for your pet's claw care. This pet nail grinder features two adjustable rotation speeds to suit the hardness of the nail and three grinding holes to accommodate different sizes of dogs. And it can last up to two hours on a single charge - so you can groom your pet with ease! Thomas: This grinder worked very nicely for our six guinea pigs. If you’ve ever seen a guinea pig before, you know they’re relatively small. Made quick work of their teeny nails and prevented me from accidentally cutting their quicks. They weren’t a fan of the sound or feeling of the grinder, and the heat that built up from the friction wasn’t exactly a fan favorite for them but they eventually got pretty used to it. Downsides for this application were the smell and dust that rose into my face while using it…
Now, why I rated this on the lower side. This is marketed for dogs. Compared to other grinders that I’ve had and used, this is useless for dog nails. I have four dogs, a Blue Heeler, a Siberian Husky, a Pitbull mix, and a miniature Poodle. The only dog this grinder is effective on, and even then, it’s slow progress, is the miniature Poodle who has… well… miniature nails. The stone goes dull very quick, and even when is was fresh and gritty it still took quite a while to grind down a nail. The guard is awkward and doesn’t fit all of their nails. The battery life/usage is poor when using it for dog nails.
So, if you have small dogs, and I mean small,...

Jade Galloway: PetSmart groomer and hated the one they had for us to use it was also a pain when more than one person needed it at a time wanted my own anyways and SO GLAD I purchased this one. So much quieter than others I’ve used, lightweight holds a charge you can push down without it shutting off it does get long hair caught occasionally but nothing like last grinders I’ve used. It’s held up well, Great product highly recommend!!

Customer: This is quieter than I expected. I turned it on every day for a few minutes, just to acclimate our dogs. One has trauma from a groomer in training who left him with razor burn all over his body. He still hasn't adjusted to this nail grinder, and he may never (and that's okay). But our other dog doesn't mind it at all. She sits still for me and I'm finally able to do her nails at home. Our dogs are very tiny (5 lbs. and 3.5 lbs.) and this works really well for their little nails. I even tried it on one of my my nails so that I would know what they would experience, and it was fine. It's not made for human nails, so it left it a bit rough, but I was very pleased at how gentle it was. The vibration isn't too bad.

Fleurma76: THE GRINDER: This nail grinder works really well to trim the nails and easy to use. The noise level of the product itself when turned on is low, but when you are actually filing the nail there will be a louder noise of the grinder against the nail. It is a bit messy as the nail dust will fly out so you will want to be in the bathroom or somewhere with hard floor that is easy to clean, and be conscious of what you are wearing as the dust will get on your clothes. The only negative of the tool itself is there is an open gap on the opposite end of the nail guard part, which could potentially scrape against your dog's toe beans depending on how you angle while trimming the nail. Just something to be careful of.
DOG'S REACTION: My very skittish dog (who freaks out at vet visits, bathtime, or loud noises outside) was still afraid of the grinder despite treats and letting her get used to it and smelling it beforehand. So I had to have my husband hold her while I tried to trim and it was a bit of a battle. I was able to shorten most of the nails but not get as far as when I pay a groomer to do it.
Meanwhile my other dog (who is not a fan of bathtime or grooming but does not...

kaord89kaord89: I have two 90-lb mastiff mix rescues, who have huge nails that I don't trim/grind often enough. This is partially because it has always been so difficult, despite training, patience and treats. The nail grinders I've used in the past were very noisy, vibrated too much, cost too much, needed replacement sanding discs/pads after every use, and didn't have enough power to continue spinning with enough force to grind down my dogs' huge nails after doing one or two feet. I have used "PediPaws;" an actual rechargeable Dremmel tool fitted with a sanding wheel; and a predecessor to the PediPaws from a decade ago.
This nail grinder was far superior in every way -- here's why:
1. It's Quiet -- Honestly, the grinder makes a quiet humming/whirring sound, that my dogs basically ignored. My bigger dog is really sensitive to sounds, and he would always flinch and get anxious when I turned on the other grinders. This is so quiet, I'm thinking about using it on my small parrots claws.
2. No Vibrations & Very Little Heat -- The other nail grinders I've used in the past, have all vibrated A LOT! So much so, that my sensitive dog would flinch every time the grinder touched...

AndreaLaVitola: This is a lot easier to use then nail clippers for me and my dogs aren’t as scared.
The only downside is that it takes a little longer.
One of my dogs fur did get caught in it but I was able to remove the cap and release it.
