amazon customer: This is a very nice little machine. I used it to make apples and pears. I cut them in circles and the apples were a hit but the pears, not so much and they took longer than the apples. There really isn't much instruction on how to use, so do your research on best ways to dehydrate. It takes up approximately 12 x 10 ish space on the counter.

Cons: the trays are awkward and don't stack neatly. You need to make sure they line up when it is on.. it stacks well for storage.

E.B. Addison: It is a bit smaller in person than it seems. Although, there is still plenty of room for sliced fruits, veggies, or meat. It is louder than I expected, but not noisy, just the sound of the fan doing it's job. It does a good job of dehydrating whatever you need without taking away the flavor or nutrients.

Diane Boskovich: I was so delighted to receive my dehydrator earlier than expected! The padding around the box could have been fuller, but my product was blemish free. It is incredibly easy to use, and I followed the booklet that came with the dehydrator to set it up. I was guessing on the time, but after I set the time and temperature, it was off and running. It is fairly quiet, and it shuts off after the time is used up. The design is sleek compared to the previous round dehydrator that I had before. It washed up beautifully, and I am sure I will be using it often!

James Ratliff: I wanted an inexpensive entry into the world of dehydrating, and chose this one. I have been using it almost daily now and am having a blast. It works perfectly, is so easy to program, runs whisper quiet and I love that you can see the food as it is dehydrating. It is a smaller unit, so I find the drying times are elevated from the recommended but since I run it throughout the night it doesn't matter to me. I have since purchased a more commercial grade dehydrator, but will still be using this one on smaller batches or on extremely large when my larger one is full. I highly recommend this one for anyone thinking of getting involved in dehydrating. Just too simple to use and the results are fabulous. (you have to do pears.....we keep eating them all up and have to keep making more) If this unit is one of your final few to decide on, don't hesitate on this one. You won't be disappointed.
