Amazon Customer: Overall great quality because of the brand. The handles stick out rather far so if you have children or pets you want to use it in a space where it can't be knocked over. Assembly was super easy. Filters well. Very powerful.

Briz2719: For small at home use, doesn’t have a large capacity but that’s not what I needed it for. I like the design, other fryers have the coils exposed and removable to clean but this one has it all contained in the structure of the fryer. Especially good for fitting on the counter.

QandAguy: We wanted something for weekday cooking where we could plug in outside so we don’t stink up the house when making fish and chips.

This is the perfect size. It comes with a basket which is more work than it’s worth if you don’t want to cook in a million batches. Better to let it all float and get the most space.

Light says if it is heating or ready. Love idea of temp setting but we crank it up to 375.

Ideally, the inner liner could be removed. Cleaning is more work than a pan.

rainburkett: I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but I fry food on average about once a day and have done so for years. I got tired of typical deep fryers that use 2 quarts of oil every time I have to change it. It felt wasteful. I stumbled on this 1.1 quart version about 8 years ago, and I have never looked back.

I've had to replace it 3 times now, twice because it wore out from using it so much, and once because the buildup of cooked oil became too much to clean any more. I consider this to be a reasonable turnaround considering how much I use it. That's at least 1000 uses with minimal oil wasted in the process.

Other than the size, I also really like how safe it is to use. My teenage daughter is terrified of hot things in the kitchen. She won't make anything on the stove that has the slightest chance of spatter, but she will use this fryer. I also like how compact it is. It easily sits on the back of the counter and does not get in the way until I'm ready to use it.

Seng Soutdalany: Easy to use, easy to clean, the food tastes great. But requires a lot of oil to fry a small amount of food. I find it very wasteful.

Anonymous: It works pretty well. One of the handles came damaged. I decided to try to get a replacement handle from Conair (the company that owns Cuisinart). The initial reply from them took a very long time, and they couldn't just send a handle. They sent me a replacement deep fryer but it wasn't even the same model - it was the one below this one. They sent another one and again, it was the wrong model. I told them to forget it and just sent their replacement units back.

Other than the warped handle (which doesn't affect functionality), it is the size I wanted and the temperature control seems to be pretty accurate. It disassembles enough to be easy to clean.
